On 11/27/24 I ordered a gift online, Once I seen the order, I realized it should be an XXL T-shirt, not a XL. I called immediately, lady said it was too late to stop the order, it had already processed. I find that hard to believe. I said you can't change the order from an XL to an XXL? She said no, she'd email me a return label & I could drop it off at UPS, then they could refund my money, if I want the T-shirt. I'd have to a
order it again & pay again for it the XXL. I should have said forget it, & not tied up another $30 on my Debit Card.
But I thought she knew what she was doing, & I let her reorder another T-shirt in an XXL. Now I got about $60 tied up in this
T-shirt. Frustrated but assuming, I could get the T-shirt in the correct size & we finished the call.
Once I hung up, I went to my email & she did not send me a return label as she said & she reordered the shirt in the same exact size with no changes. Now I got $60 debited from my card and still no T-shirt in the correct size. I'II have to wait until Dec 4 to get 2 wrong T-shirts & then try to get two return labels to get my $60 back. I immediately called her back, as luck would have it, I get a Recording THEY ARE CLOSED. & the next day is Thanksgiving, so they are CLOSED AGAIN.
I would love to get that T-shirt for a Christmas Gift. but I will never ever call to have customer service attempt to make a simple change to an order. I will drive 35 miles to JCPenney Store to make a purchase. and drive 35 miles if I ever need to make a return, I'm sorry this lady deserves NO STARS for tying up my money, messing up my order &
leaving me so upset

Casual clothing store with a wide variety of brands and warmth atmosphere. It can get busy on the weekends. The only downside is that there is only one men's dressing room (they used to be more) and sometimes you have to wait in line. Other than that no is good.

I was surprised to find this store fully stocked with merchandise, neat, clean, and looking as a Penney store should. The San Bruno store is nearly empty of merchandise. I will now shop at the Salinas store, if I need need to look for anything. The shopping center, Northridge, is also quite nice too. Sort of reminded me of Serramonte shopping center in Daly City.

Does not price match their own website, I work less then a five minute drive and I saw they have a nice deal on bath towels. I got what I needed and headed to the cashier, she told me they are regular price, I showed her the price online and was told they don't price match. She asked if I wanted to order them online. I'm just thinking to myself No I don't thats why I'm here. This is why I shop on Amazon.

I went to JCPenney in San jose, Eastridge mall. First time there, and it was horrible. The staff had an attitude, when I was confused about some things, and all the clothes were low quality, never going there ever again. Everythings over priced.

Worst experience checking out. Nobody working the checkout. I ask an employee for help. They said they called someone. Waited 15 minutes, nobody showed up. I left without purchasing anything.
