Adrian has been cutting my hair here for a while now but this is the first time I brought my two year old to get his hair cut here also. Adrian was amazing with him and gave him the best haircut he’s ever had. We will be bringing him back to here every time. I would recommend Adrian to anyone!

Super upsetting experience. I was excited to have my stylist work on my hair since my moms been getting her hair done their for a while and her hair has always looked beautiful. At first I was having an amazing experience and my stylist was super lovely but towards the end when I was out of the bowl and onto the chair to start drying and styling my hair I noticed my hair was melting off at the ends. I could see my stylist brushing my hair and hair coming off on the brush that was breaking off. When I pulled my hair forward to look at my hair I could see the blonde highlighted sections were all crinkling and breaking right off. She ended up having to cut my hair into a bob. I have had my hair even blonder and have never had this happen to me before. My hair feels extremely dry and damaged and is shorter than I would have ever expected. The color is not what I showed her either. She did state it wouldn’t be as cool as pictured but the tones not the issue it’s that it looks nothing like it. I have a very important event coming up in October and now my hair is not what I was expecting. Super disheartening. The stylist was super sweet, but didn’t take any accountability for what was happening she said it was happening because it was wet and sensitive (not the case). Sadly I will never be returning again.

All i can say is wow. Truly terrible. I had Steph. I was under the impression that she was going to be able to give me the same results as my inspiration pictures. Multiple times she said she was going to be able to give me the honey, dark, natural, blonde I asked for. I showed her a plethora of inspiration pictures and it seemed like she understood what I wanted. I was also very flexible for the price and willing to pay what was necessary. I explained my hair history as well. I’ve been bleaching it for a few years but the last time it was bleached was a year ago. I got a hair gloss within the past six months and a few weeks ago box dyed my hair. It faded to the color shown in the pictures. She did a round of color remover and then styled my hair as if she was done. I was not happy and asked her if this was the final color. I think she tried to act like she wasn’t about to let me leave like that but I mean she completely styled my hair as if she was done. At this point it looked bright yellow, white, and peach. She went over to another Jaír stylist to ask her what to do. I assume the other stylist told her to tone it or do another color removing round. She came over did that then left me sitting for awhile. She washed it out of my hair and brought me back to the chair. I asked if this was going to be my final color because it was clearly not what I asked for. She said yea but it would look different after it was dried. The whole time she was drying my hair she had me angled intentionally to where I wouldn’t see it in the mirrors. Then she showed me. Didn’t ask if I liked it nothing. She avoided eye contact and hurried me to pay. She wasn’t proud of her work and neither was I. All the other stylists avoided eye contact. They knew she did a bad job, she knew, I knew. I feel embarrassed. Not to mention it was almost $300 even with me leaving a 15% tip. I just wish she had told me she wouldn’t be able to pull it off or things weren’t turning out how she thought they would, but no. She didn’t express any of this, just avoided eye contact and rushed me out. So unhappy with it. Can’t even believe a stylist would let someone leave with not only such untoned yellow hair but also with hair that looks so different from their inspiration pictures. Not to add she’s the “color specialist.” Unbelievable. It looks worse in person. Patchy yellow, orange, pink mess.

I can't say enough about Hiz and Herz salon and the services provided by Stephanie the owner. New to the area and making the much dreaded switch from a longtime stylist is a frightening challenge. One that had already gone awry by another local stylist that totally botched my hair. Stephanie spent a lot of time listening to what I wanted and professionally fixing what the other stylist had done. She gave my hair a new color I've never worn and would have to say, it's probably my favorite and the most natural color for me. The salon was clean and gave a cool vibe! The receptionist (Stephanie's Mom) was friendly and helpful in getting my appointment made initially. My husband is scheduled for a cut with the barber this morning, so glad to know we can go to the same place. LOVE the online booking service to schedule too! So happy with my results and highly recommend!

I love the service and talent here! Stephanie is so amazing and takes her time listening to what I want and even shows me examples before deciding. Every time I'm in there every stylist is always in a great mood and they are all working their tails off. You will get greated as soon as you walk in the door with amazing customer service!
