I had such a lovely time at Pursuit Salon. My stylist Lauren was kind, efficient, and great at doing highlights on my hair. She gave me advice about what colours would suit my hair, given my history. She also taught me about what shampoos would be good for my hair. All the employees seemed really respectful to each other and their clients, which was lovely to see!

The young woman who cut my hair was lovely. She did a decent job. But I don’t know how these salons that give pretty mediocre haircuts get away with charging $160 for a very basic cut. I wanted a style. Layers. Heaviness taken out. She trimmed it up nicely but barely changed anything. I am happy to pay $160 for a bold and innovative cut.

It seems like the standard in the Bay Area is now outrageous amounts of money for basic services. Oh and make sure you tip a crazy amount too. 20% of whatever that crazy amount is.

My haircut with Macey wonderful! She's great at small talk and making me feel comfortable as someone who is new to this salon, as well as obviously skilled and didn't make me feel bad when I kept asking her to start my layers shorter. I also appreciated that she didn't hard-sell me on extra product but when I asked about certain things she'd offer info and explain how I could add it to my process at home.
I'll be real, this is the most I've ever paid for a haircut (and can be twice as much as you'd pay somewhere else), but I never felt that it was overpriced or like I was being up-sold things I didn't actually want. I'll definitely be returning!

Fantastic experience! Salon is beautiful, clean, and lively. All the products are fabulous, and of course the stylists ... two thumbs up! I had Chris and he's not just a styling savant but a delightful human as well. Highly recommend!

Viv (Claire) was amazing. Super easy to talk to, great balance of listening to what I wanted and giving options and professional advice but making sure I was happy with the decision and look. Highly recommend. Parking is underground so allow a little more time for that but super easy and free. Nice clean studio with friendly front desk.

Super skilled hair stylists. I’m incredibly particular about my hair and I couldn’t be happier with my haircut! Amazing service. Front desk staff was super kind. Super flexible in helping fit me in last minute. Overall it was an excellent experience. Will definitely be coming back here.
