I would like to share my experience with this wonderful store. My wife and I have an affinity for metaphysical stores and we make it a point to seek them out everywhere we go. On a visit to Morro Bay, we made it a point to visit Magical Mysteries and pick up some small things for our collection. We intended to go see the other shops in the cove, but ended up staying about 3 hours because the place is truly magical! There are items in every nook, cranny and corner of this unique shop! The jewelry is amazing, the stones are amazing, the alter supplies are amazing, the decorations are amazing, the black light gem room is amazing - everything about this store is amazing! However, it is not the products that make this place great, it is the owners. We met John (didn't get the pleasure of meeting April) and were very impressed the level of attention that he showed to us AND everybody walking through the door. John made everybody feel important and really took the time to explain stone characteristics, jewelry making processes and the variety and assortment of the selections displayed. It was truly an exciting experience. We were like kids in a candy store! I would highly recommend checking this place out when you are in Morro Bay. It is top notch. In fact, we are planning our next trip out, just to come back for more, custom made art work that John produces himself! We absolutely love the adornments that we purchased on that day! Magical Mysteries & More

On August 3, 2024 my Daughter in Law, Granddaughters and I, took a girls trip to Moro Bay California and found one of the most Interesting, Fun, and Magical Shops I have ever seen. The building it is in is quite unassuming, but when you open the door it brings a breathtaking moment of surprises and anticipation. My Granddaughters and I had so much fun trying to see everything we could in our limited time. However, we found the crystal beads, Manifesting bracelets, we are always looking for and I found a couple decks of Oracle cards I have been wanting. The Owner was so knowledgeable and helpful about the Crystals, taking the time to be sure we knew which were man-made and which were natural. Which is important to me and very much appreciated. She provided us with the cutest cloth shopping basket to gather our magical purchases in, which was a nice touch. This was one of our most enjoyable experiences while visiting Moro Bay. When we visit Moro Bay again this Beautiful, Fun and Energetic Shop will be the First place we go to and we will make sure we have enough time to see everything. Also, they had the most Beautiful Journals which is the first thing i will purchase when we return. The store is so nicely curated compared to other crystal shops I have been in. It was so fun just looking at the amazing selection. They have a very nice variety of minerals and range of prices. The owner was very nice to my kids and this was a very pleasant learning experience for them! It reminded me of when I first started getting into crystals as a child and a local shop owner was very kind to me. We’ll be back again. Thanks!

This store quickly became one of my all time favorite places. The store is packed with amazing finds that are all priced so fairly! Crystals, incense, sage, altar candles, tarot cards, and literally so much more. You find something new in this store every time you visit. The owners, John and April, are also so welcoming and knowledgeable! They are dog people and great conversationalists too. John is actually a wizard crafter. I had bought a crystal for my dog and John was kind enough to wrap it free of charge so I could add it to his collar. When my friend saw it and fell in love with it, I went back to get one for her dog and John happily wrapped another. I even had a ring where the stone had fallen out and I brought it to John. He sourced the perfect shape and size aquamarine to replace it with! He did the replacement and made the ring an actual circle again too (it was very bent due to rough wear). I was charged only half of what a jeweler in downtown SLO quoted me. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!!

This place is more than just a shop, it’s an entire experience. Such a warm, welcoming environment. The owners are both knowledgeable and passionate about what they do there. If you’re in Morro Bay- you have to stop. And if you’re not in Morro Bay- it’s worth the drive.

I love this place! Just went for the first time a few days ago while visiting Morro Bay & it was a great experience with some amazing products. I got a beautiful handmade necklace that I started to wear that day. The owner was really nice too & even offered to help my boyfriend fix his ring/guitar! We will definitely come back next time we visit. 🙂

My daughter and I always look for new crystal stores where ever we go. We decided to take a chance and boy we were thrilled! The store has a welcoming enchanted feeling when you walk in the door and is packed with beautiful things. John, one of the owners, took his time educating us on certain stones and shared his story with us. John also creates the jewelry pieces he sells and told us each stone goes through a stringent authentication process. Bonus the place is dog friendly and John loved on both of our dogs. Definitely will be back again!

John from Magical Mysteries was handing out crystals to those participating in the witches and warlocks paddle. Such a thoughtful thing to do! I will definitely give their shop a visit on the Embarcadero in Morro Bay. And he was very kind to capture our photo too.
