Hidden just on the edge of Los Osos/ San Luis Obispo in a small shopping plaza is Volumes of Pleasure bookshop. It is well stocked and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. There are books ranging through a variety of topics like philosophy, fiction, self help, travel and much more. The store also has calendars and arts and crafts materials as well. In the back right off the store you can find crystals, sculptures and a healthy amount of incense to choose from. The back left of the store has a decent selection of things for kids as well from books to toys.

A GEM! How thrilled was I to be traveling through Los Osos and happen upon this well-stocked, welcoming and inclusive shop? Not only did I find the perfect items for my new moon ceremony (fresh sage bundles, candles, and amber resin), but had an insightful chat with an owner. Proactively Lgbtqia+ friendly, too!

One of the best pet stores in this Plaza that I have been to end return to as many times that I can... Also bookstore beautiful great selection of books at wonderful prices.. When boys were younger many years ago love to take them there and always found something that put a smile on her face for you. Thanks for being open for so many years 🙂 many good memories
