Very convenient store with parking and has a really wide selection. Would like to see even more items and makeup shades like Tirtir. Pricing is similar to stylevana and Yesstyle. Some items just have a tester out and they have the product in their backroom if you want to buy it and it’s not out on the floor.

We have shopped at this store a few times before since we love the varieties and selections of the products here. However, today my sister and I were the only customers in the store and midway through strolling the store, one of the workers saw that a product from the skincare aisle had gone missing. I overheard the commotion, but kept my distance since I didn't want to stress them out more.
Worker A decided to check the camera system and Worker B walked around the store and kept a keen eye on me. It felt entirely uncomfortable and suffocating since my sister and I never went down the skincare aisle at all before they found that the skincare product was missing. We were scrutinized deeply and I tried my best to brush it off because there were still so many things I wanted to see and purchase.
After a while, Worker A returned from viewing camera footage and she said that the item might've gone missing some other time ago, but Worker B insisted that the product had gone missing during the hour that we were there. I felt sick to my stomach and disrespected so we decided to check out and get out of the store.
Overall, I wished that if they had their suspicion, I would've prefer for them to just communicate instead of leering at us for thinking that we stole. I wanted to explain that we didn't do anything, but I'm non-confrontational and felt very unsafe due to their animosity. To ease their worries, we wouldn't have mind giving them our basket to hold at the front and checking our pockets and bags since we felt deeply wronged for being suspected of something that we didn't do.

Terrible Customer Service and Horrible Return Policy at CandyDoll

I rarely write reviews, but my experience with CandyDoll was so frustrating that I feel compelled to share it. I recently purchased a bottle of shampoo from their store, but when I got home and tried it, I was taken aback by the strong artificial smell it gave off. It was so overpowering that I knew I couldn’t use it.

I immediately returned to the store, hoping for a refund or at least an exchange. However, the manager wasn’t there, so the staff gave me an email address to contact. I sent multiple emails explaining my issue, but received no response. Frustrated, I finally called the store to follow up. When I finally spoke with the manager, she claimed she never received any of my emails, even though I used the exact address provided by her staff. Worse, she was completely dismissive of my concerns, refusing to even hear me out.

I later became aware that the store has a no-return policy on opened products. This was never mentioned to me at checkout, nor did I see any signage indicating that the sale was final. I was completely blindsided by this.

If you’re considering trying something new from CandyDoll, don’t bother unless you’re absolutely sure you’ll love it. Their customer service is rude, and their stubborn return policy means you’ll be stuck with a product you might hate. Save yourself the trouble and only buy products you already know and like.

I started watching videos about K-Beauty recently after watching the Vox Explained episode on skincare. I feel so blessed that this store is close by because they have everything you could need at a very affordable price. Since starting a multi step skincare routine using their products, my barrier is restored and my skin is soft, even and glassy. I am in love with my new skincare routine and it’s something that I look forward to doing everyday. The store is adorable and has some really great stuff. If you are won’t familiar with Skincare and cosmetic products from Asia I would suggest doing some research on what you want before coming in if you are an English only speaker - many of the products are not in English. The staff is helpful and can help you find what you need.

Great selections on beauty products, but bad customer service.

I visited today at the Stonestown location, planning to buy some masks and eyeliner. Stayed in store over 15 minutes, no one acknowledged me no one assisted .

There were two sales associates sitting behind registers, chatting, laughing and playing on phone. I felt I walked into a ghost town.

I feel sad for the business owner for wasting his or hers payroll on these two associates! They don’t do the work but get paid to damage business reputation!

But again, beautiful products and unique selections!
