I've given up on Ace. The people at the Sheridan store are nice, friendly and helpful, and the store is nice But their coupon program is completely bogus -- endlessly complicated and very difficult to qualify. Every time I try to use it, I get hit with some kind of disqualification or exclusion. "Ace Rewards" should be renamed "Ace Frustration." "Ace Rewards" creates much more badwill than customer loyalty. I've pretty much had it. It's not like there aren't five other hardware stores in Sheridan if you must buy locally. But today I came home and immediately ordered my item on the internet (not Ace) for a price less than if I had used the coupon. All I'm out is a wasted trip to town. Not going in there again unless I absolutely have to.

I used to shop here as much as possible. Loved the small store, local merchant feel. Late last year they started not accepting returns without a receipt which is just not the norm anymore with card transactions storing all data. This weekend I walked in the door and was literally rushed by the teller insisting that I leave my bag, containing my wallet, personal items and weapon, at the counter while I shopped. I was gobsmacked! The manager, recognizing me overrode the teller but the damage was done. It's not the tellers fault. Somehow it seems this small town merchant doesn't really feel like a merchant. More like checking through TSA at the airport. I will not be shopping here again.

Got the plastic storage box I needed right away. Man employee showed us where discounted boxes were. We appreciated that. Connie asked us if there was anything we needed. We asked where the pots were and she walked us over to them. They have very friendly and helpful people working here.

A helpful and amiable staff assisted me with a minor adjustment to my Subaru Outback. They not only found the hardware that I needed but also lent me a screwdriver to perform the work.

I was in and out at little expense and with no trouble. Would that all chores could be completed so easily.

I went in for an adapter for a portable dishwasher. The man who was working in the plumbing area, who assisted me, truly didn't have a clue as to what was needed. (I had pictures and sizes) He was nice, so they get 3 stars for effort.

Very friendly staff. Good selection of hand and power tools. Carries Craftsman brands. Has home goods and craft section as well. Great selection of yard tools. Also huge section of jigsaw puzzles.

This is a great little store. Has a craft section where you can find crafting items that are hard to find at many of the box stores in town. Also carries pellets for our pellet stove year round and does not change the price like the other stores in town do. They have wonderful customer service. I am always greeted with a smile and "Can I help you?" without have to run someone down.
