Review of ABLC 21st Birthday Event.

I recently attended the 21st birthday celebration of Advanced Body and Laser Center (ABLC), and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing.
I visit my parents often at this area and I’m a regular at this med spa, so I was excited to see their event advertised. The invitation promised the first 20 people in line would receive a mini gift box, and those who spent $1,000 or more would receive a VIP bag valued at $800. I planned to spend around $3,000, so I was eager to attend.
I arrived at 11:30 am for a 12 pm opening and found myself as the 21st person in line. I waited for an hour and a half in the blazing sun, while ABLC employees, including one named Erika, remained comfortably in the shade. To make matters worse, there was no water available, and I was parched.
During my wait, I heard Erika assure the crowd that plenty of VIP bags were still available if we just held on a little longer.

However, when I finally got inside and inquired about the VIP bags, I was met with a rude response from the check-in staff: “Nope.” It felt as if I was being dismissed for merely asking a question.

Meanwhile, I saw others leaving with multiple gift bags and posing for photos with ABLC employees. It became clear that the event was more about social media promotion than genuine customer appreciation. The only refreshment provided was a cookie that tasted stale, and I left feeling frustrated.

Here are a few key takeaways for anyone considering attending future events hosted by ABLC:

1. Misleading Promotions: The information advertised was not followed through, leaving many feeling cheated.

2. Crowd for Marketing: It seemed the main goal was to create a crowd for social media photos rather than to reward loyal customers.

3. Lack of Basic Amenities: Providing water or shade for waiting guests would have shown basic courtesy.

4. Favoritism: It appeared that gifts were distributed to friends and family of the staff, which is disheartening.

5. Do Your Research: I suggest being cautious before attending future events, as this experience felt more like a scam than a celebration.

Overall, I was left feeling undervalued as a customer and disappointed by the experience. I hope ABLC takes this feedback to heart for future events.

I have had so many positive experiences with Advanced Body and Laser Center! I’ve known Lesa, the owner for a very long time and I have thoroughly enjoyed watching her grow her business to the amazing medical spa it is today! I just had a cosmetic procedure done by Adina, she is one of the newer NP’s and she is fabulous! She really knows exactly what she’s doing, she explains everything thoroughly, but more important she won’t let you go overboard. She knows how to make you look you’re very best!
I know a lot of the nurses that work there and they’re all top notch! You can’t go wrong with any of them!
They provide so much, so stop in and check out everything that they provide. You won’t be disappointed!

A very good place Body and laser for skin and body treatment. Affordable prices and the staff is very friendly. The only complaint I have with advanced body and laser is that once I was unable to arrive on time for my appointment, I spoke on the phone and told them that I would not be able to arrive because there was an accident on the road that they could reschedule my appointment. An hour later they told me no and told me that I had to pay $25 dollars for not having arrived at the appointment, pay the $25 dollars. But from then on every time I want to make an appointment I have to pay everything in advance for that time I can't make it on time. It seems unfair to me why I paid for not having arrived on time. If ever they cannot arrive on time they will always have to pay everything in advance.

I visited ABLC because ive been insecure with my skin concerns and KIM the esthetician who helped me went above and beyond!! She asked me about my skin concerns , gave me treatment, we had a personable conversation and NEVER made me feel bad about my acne. She actually referred me some products and things I can incorporate to my routine! I will definitely be visiting again and telling me friends because we love facials!

Ashley is the best! I started going to her to wax my eyebrows and to get facials. Then I got my eyebrows microbladed over 2 years ago and she is just amazing. So patient, likes what she does and she’s funny. I just got my eyebrows microbladed this afternoon. I’m getting married in a month and she’s the only one I trust with my eyebrows. Love it! Thank you Ashley!

p.s. it’s normal for them to look dark when you barely get them done. They heal quickly and she gives you a very natural look/color.

I just had my first service here and it was the 90 min hot stone massage. I had an exceptional experience. Adrianne was my massage therapist and she was AMAZING!!!! The spa itself is really nice. The room I was in had its own bathroom and everything was clean and nice. I felt very comfortable and will definitely be returning. Also, they had a promotion going for $25 off and they automatically applied it which was really nice!!!!

Very kind staff and clean treatment room. The facial was nice but I have to remove two stars because I couldn’t get past the esthetician wearing gloves. It just felt so uncomfortable and icky on my skin. I don’t know if it’s protocol to wear gloves now but it just didn’t feel nearly as good and relaxing as it would without the gloves. For this reason I don’t think I’ll go back because I’m not willing to pay high prices for a not so relaxing and cozy experience. Side note, this is minor but I also thought the boho macrame room decorations weren’t very classy and professional looking, it’s cutesy sure, but definitely doesn’t give a high end feel to the treatment room. Overall, very nice customer service and if you don’t mind the gloves, you’ll probably really enjoy it!

I got my eye brows micro bladed with Ashley. Hands down best decision ever! I don’t know why I waited so long? Looks amazing and saves so much time getting ready. They look very natural. She made the whole experience very easy and comfortable. 100% recommend!!!
