I have tried many different medical spas on the Western Slope and other areas around the country, but I find that Advanced Skin Care and Laser Center in Grand Junction, Colorado is one of the best. The staff is professionally trained, and the results are consistent. It doesn’t matter who I see for my treatment, I know I will get the best care possible. In fact, I don’t live on the Western slope anymore but I still travel back here just to have my treatments done.

*Response to their comment: their reasoning is a Cutera can cause burning. Lol. A PDL is actually WAY stronger than the Cutera which is why I have USED the EXACT laser for 5 years with minimal bruising and NO burning at all. A PDL required me 2 week healing time, blisters, scabs, etc. Cutera is a lot gentler and they have the laser. NOT TO MENTION, I sent them the EXACT settings I was using in Longmont and the locations on my face. It wasn’t even a trail and error type of procedure. It’s purely a lack of wanting to actually try. Also, whenever you get laser, you HAVE to sign a waiver that states burning/bruising/etc. can happen and they are NOT held liable. So this reasoning isn’t sound. I’ve spoken with 5 other places nearby that don’t have the laser and are appalled a place would have a laser that a patient needs and refuse to use because they aren’t comfortable. What a waste of money for a company to have such an expensive laser and a horrible business practice. Shame on you all.*

I would NEVER, EVER recommend this place. I medically needed a laser procedure done. Not just something I wanted cosmetically. So when I got a consultation 18 months ago, they said they could do it on my port wine stain. Flash forward, I got pregnant so I couldn’t get laser done. When I re-inquired, I was told the machine was down and it took close to 6 months for it to be back and running. I finally got an appointment for November 25th. I was told they now had 3 people trained on the Cutera laser (Christy who only works one day a week and is busy and booked forever wouldn’t have to do it). Then, today, 3 business days before my appointment, Christy calls to tell me the other two Estheticians aren’t comfortable doing this laser on my face because it’s a port wine stain (aka not normal skin). She won’t do it because she works one day a week and didn’t want to take on a new client. I LITERALLY needed ONE 20 minute procedure. That is it. On top of that, not only did I change this appointment around a trip I had planned to get seen, I now haven’t had this treatment done, which is medically needed, for 2 years. Before this, I had to drive to drive to Longmont to get procedure done because I was under the impression no one on the western slope had this laser. Lo and behold how excited I was that a local company (5 minutes away from me!!!) had it. I wouldn’t have to spend money on gas, a hotel stay (as I can’t drive after the procedure and healing wise), and saving time! BUT this company flat out told me 3 days before (after waiting 18 plus months to get laser done) that “they weren’t comfortable doing it” because they haven’t done it. Okay. Then how do you get better?! The only way you get better at something is by trying and not shying away. This could be discrimination as well. This laser would have been used on anyone else without a birthmark. I am BEYOND upset and disappointed. I have called and emailed this business NUMEROUS times over the past 6 months. I had to rearrange appointments so I could heal from this procedure and what did they do?! Cancel 3 days beforehand. And here is the best part, I’d do research and the closest place that has this exact laser is 4 hours away from Grand Junction! I cannot believe a local place would not help out a local person. Imagine this being a child who needed a medical procedure and a surgeon wouldn’t do it because it’s new and this child has to drive 4 hours instead. This business HAS THE LASER and people trained to do it, yet are choosing not to. By all means, sure it’s their right or whatever, but how horrible. To leave one of your very own local people in the dust when you have the EXACT thing I need for my medical procedure. Shame. On. You.

Came in for a consultation and Dr Heartman went over every question I had. She even went in-depth and made sure I was informed. Very excited to getting my services done soon.

Update after services. Happy happy happy. First time user of injections. Well worth doing. I’ve always been confident, but hitting 50 and being a former smoker takes it toll. I don’t avoid getting close to the mirror anymore where I see every tiny flaw. My next steps are for fillers in July for my cheeks to get rid of the hallowed out look you can get when your body gets older and looses collagen. Thank you Dr Hartman and you wonderful staff.

I had a micro needling facial with Hanna and it was awesome! She was super professional and had great recommendations for an easy skin care routine for this busy mumma! The micro needling was comfortable and not painful at all. My skin went from dull to glowing and hydrated. Would highly recommend Hanna and Advanced Laser. I’ve had several treatments here and everyone has been great!

I went to advanced skin care and laser center to get some moles on my face removed, I have wanted to get these removed for a couple years and Dr. Hartman removed them seemingly and the healing process was quick and easy! Scarring is minimal and I am feeling more confident in my face everyday! I would recommend this center for any of your beauty needs, 10/10!

I have been to Advanced skin care several times over the past three years and have had nothing but amazing experiences! Dr.Hartman was very professional. I was interested in a little bit of filler and she was extremely helpful and informative on what my options were. The front office and the rest of the staff makes you feel welcome the second you walk in the door. Can’t recommend this place enough!
