I am new to shopping at stores like Ann Taylor and my experience at Castle Rock today was incredible! Jill was more than helpful to get me different sizes in the fitting room as well as helpful with styling without being "salesy". The store manager was who helped me that the register. She was extremely professional and really made this such a pleasant experience for someone who really doesn't like shopping. Thank you both for for kindness and professionalism. It was very much appreciated 👏.

Walked in at 5:15 and was told sharply that they’re closed. Hours said they don’t close until 8 and door was unlocked so maybe employee was having a bad day

Very nice professional clothes. But staff was not very friendly. They were very attentive to white, above 50s women, but not to me. (I have an accent and my husband is hispanic descent) Very dismissive. Also, when asked about military discount, lady stated that is "only for active duty" First. Active duty women will most likely not be wearing these clothes. Secondly, I've never heard such a thing for retails. I've shopped with our military discount for 20 years. It's either none or 10-15%. I will not be returning to the outlet store.

Very disappointed with this store. The first time I went in to buy something I was supposed to get $20 off my purchase that did not happen the second time I went to the store. There was an issue with another lady wanting to claim her birthday coupon and they just could not find it and didn’t even try to work with her. She was a lady of color just not feeling too good about this store if you are a person of color. I did speak to the manager about this, but I wasn’t pleased with the results won’t be shopping here no .

I love, love Ann Taylor Factory clothes, they’re of great quality and they have some good discounts that I make sure I take advantage of. I’d never been to the physical store until today. I needed to return some items I ordered online and did not fit, they were a few of many I had ordered. The register lady was not very patient and when she was placing an online order for me as a replacement for a couple of items I returned, I asked her if she gave me the same prices I paid for the ones I returned and she said she went in and fixed the prices. I discovered that was not the case when I grabbed the receipts for the items to confirm, then she matched the prices correctly. I wouldn’t usually be this bothered by a mistake such as this but she was a little rude. She tried to stay courteous but wasn’t very successful.
I think I’ll try to avoid coming to the store for this reason and the fact that they have better discounts online. They’re also far from where I live and work but that’s not their fault 🙂

On my first visit to this store (I am from out of state) I bought a blouse and when I tried to return it the following day the clerk told me it was a final sale item. I said I had no idea what that means and she said I could not return it.
It would be nice if there was a sign or the sales clerk would inform the customers that they could not return such items. I would not have bought it because I knew that I needed to try it with a jacket I had at my hotel and I doubted that it would match, but I was careful to keep the tag on it, the receipt, and even the bag.
I don’t live here and I would never shop here again, but I thought I should warn others who might.
