My surgery for an upper eye lift was back in September and am extremely happy with the results. Surgery was very painless. I followed my recovery instructions and now hardly have a scar and very happy with the results Now being a few months out I see a major improvement with my eyelids in appearance and even just less headaches and the feeling of the heavy weight is gone .

I had a concern after hours and left a voicemail asking for my call to be returned. Dr. Yates called me back within minutes! I was so impressed. He made time in his schedule to see me the next morning so I could be reassured that my eyes were fine. He thoroughly tested and checked my eyes. Appreciate his care, concern, and great customer service. Dr. Justo and all of his staff are excellent. Highly recommend.

I'll preface my review by saying the front office staff and optometrist techs are wonderful - I vacillated for that reason between two and three stars. To begin, the tech assigned to me was very ill. I appreciated her disclosing her bad cold so that I could opt for another tech. (While exposure to viruses is inevitable, I personally feel eye exams require too much close contact to knowingly be exposed.) I absolutely loved the next tech. Thereafter I learned that, while I had scheduled with one optometrist, I was going to see Dr. Yates instead, with whom I was not familiar. Aside from the fact that he was the least friendly and engaged doctor I've met for some time, he was constantly trying to sell (and upsell) me on the institute's products and services. I don't visit an optometrist to experience the high pressure of a used car lot. Moreover, he didn't dim the fluorescent lights when examining my eyes following dilation - it only occurred to me later why the exam was so miserable. Later, in speaking with my mother, I learned she stopped going to the institute a few years ago because of the sales tactics. I won't be returning to this practice either.

Doctor Yates and his staff were all so amazing. Very friendly,so sweet and very patient with my youngest who was scared due to it being the first eye exam. They were also very thorough and making sure you got the best care, exams and make you feel comfortable and answered all of my questions too!! Thank you to all of you and you guys are amazing!!

All of the staff are so friendly at AZ Eye Institute. I have been a patient there for many years, first with Dr. Justo, and now Dr. Yates. They are both super nice. I feel that their exams are very thorough which gives me confidence they would not miss anything and would catch any problems I might have at an early stage.

Amazing establishment, treated my grandmother very well and made instructions very clear. She even forgot her shades and she had just had her eyes dilated, a staff employee passing by had went inside and grabbed her some. 10/10 good job

Dr Yates and his entire staff has been wonderful. They are so helpful and truly care about their patients. My husband and I are seniors and appreciate the care we get at the Eye Institute in both Sun City and Sun City West.

The medical staff was very attentive and efficient. While it was busy, the doctor managed to diagnose early cataracts while keeping tabs on the NCAA tournament.
I brought in a family heirloom, to me, my father's Ray Ban Wayfair sunglasses that he wore daily to be made into my prescription; we lost him in 2014, like a grandmother's ring to me, men have so little trinkets we can carry around to remind.
After charging me 20% to use my own frames, industry standard, I was informed a week later that the lab had broken them, I am heartbroken to say the least.
While they're getting me something that I can use, the frames can never be replaced. Just an FYI. While the VA was inconvenient due to location and frankly they're limited in selection, I'd rather, impossible I know, go back in time and be able to keep my daddies sunglasses
