The worst place I have ever visited was to repair dreadlocks. and the only thing they put on me was gel and in the dryer I thought that they were going to knit them for me later but that wasn't the case.

And the worst thing is that they charged 80 dollars just for the gel.

I do not recommend it for dreadlocks

They charged me 80 bucks for straight back cornrows for a wig braid down. Then gaslit me and said they told me the price before I sat down. They didn’t. I asked for medium size braids so I could have less tension on my scalp and they ignored me and did tiny braids. Braids r clean but they ripped my hair out and these are extremely tight. Definitely wouldn’t recommend I almost had them take it out lmao. They don’t take cash either. 0/10 experience

I got my hair braided by the young women at this shop 4 days ago and I've been in pain ever since. When they first started braiding I asked for them to not be so tight because I'm a little tender headed and these are still the tightest box braid I've ever had. (I've gotten my hair braided a lot in the past more than a dozen times) So tight that I'm having to take the bottom half out because I cant sleep regardless of taking pain medication and the blistering that's happening around my neck line. I also want to point out the fact that when I was getting my hair braided they were parting my hair with a metal clip(duck bill clip) not a rat tail comb. I was confused at why parting sections was so painful because I had done a blow out to myself so my hair would be manageable and I asked what my hair was being parted with. When they showed me I saw my hair strands in between the clip and expressed that it was hurting me and they were ripping my hair strands out. She just replied that they always part their customers hair with these clips and kept doing it. Now dont get my wrong the braids are beautiful and well done. The parts are pretty the braids are neat and uniform. But because of the pain and blisters I'm experiencing, the fact that I'm having to take the braids out after spending over 250 dollars for the style I will not be returning. I also was going to leave a higher rating because I do believe the girls are talented braiders but I can't bring myself to do that because I feel it's important to be flexible listen to your customers request, and strive to make a positive experience for us and they failed at that tremendously.

That place ghetto as hell, it was my first time there and they did not care to help me at all after asking for assistance multiple times. They tried to up charge me for products I did not want and questioned me when I wanted to return my products. I normally do not leave reviews for places but this one was that bad.

Just wanted to show my appreciation for Astou, she did an amazing job today on the corn rows! I've gotten my hair done by her before but it was the first time I got color extensions on my hair and I really like how it came out! She added her own unique touch to it and I couldn't have left feeling any happier, thank you!

This was an incredibly disappointing experience. Despite requesting knotless braids, I received a different style and was informed that this was the standard procedure. It was frustrating to feel unheard when expressing discomfort due to the tightness, which was precisely why I had requested knotless braids in the first place. Despite voicing my concerns to the owner, it seemed as though my feedback fell on deaf ears, with the owner dismissing my dissatisfaction as insignificant.
Seeking a resolution, I contacted the salon the next day, hoping to address the issue. However, instead of finding a solution, I was met with resistance from the owner, who insisted on charging additional fees for corrections. Faced with this response and having already spent $260.00, I simply requested the braids be removed. While I believe a partial refund of $130.00 would have been reasonable given the circumstances, the focus remained solely on the owner's perspective, neglecting to acknowledge my dissatisfaction and the financial impact on my end.
This experience was not only disappointing but also highlights the importance of effective communication and customer-centric practices in the service industry. As fellow entrepreneurs, understanding and valuing customer feedback should be paramount to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.

I had a very good experience here. Initially we disagreed on how I wanted my hair done, so I left because I will not pay for a style that I don't want. Astou called me back and said that she wanted my first experience with her shop to be a good one and asked me to come back. She agreed to do my hair the way I wanted, and I am delighted with the results. Not only are they excellent braiders, but the shop is immaculate and they care about their professional reputation. If you are looking for quality, cleanliness and professionalism, this is the place.
