I had a military ball I was attending, well my originally booked stylist elsewhere was ill and had a fever, so I called around and a few recommendations lead me to Beauty Bar.
I was absolutely appreciative of them being able to get me in for 2:15pm. I didn't ask for anything crazy but it was something that needed to be set to stay.
I walked in with 2 day old dirty hair (still soft) with curls I put in 2 days ago, she played off of what I had already on my head. But teased it a bit, put four rollers in my hair, lots of hair spray and texture powder. I had a lot of product in my hair and it didn't hold. I didn't get the look I wanted. I basically paid $55 ($10 in tip because she was absolutely the sweetest) for something I could have just done myself with redoing a few curls to my already curled hair. I paid $55 for hair play. I wanted to cry in my car, as I messaged my husband. I got home and I flipped my head over, brushed (tried to get as many teased knots out) and re curled a few spots and floofed what I could to make it look appealing for the Ball.
I felt like a had someone with inexperience and I was there for a little over 1½hrs.
$65 for me to fix it myself.
Not an updo, but considered an updo according to services asked, but it was more of a blow out but not quite a blow out.
No wash was done, just sat down and applied product and curled a few spots and some blow drying to hold so heat to curls. That's it. I wasn't pleased but their was nothing that could be done, I had no more time. Enough was wasted already.

The girls were nice who did our pedicure but my gosh what I paid for isn't worth it! My first time visiting Colorado and nope never again going to this place. Receptionist sounded rude over the phone and when I got there wasn't greeted friendly. Really your company needs to visit TX to one of my favorite places....they offer a Margarita pedi only 65$ all the Margarita s you want to drink all day no charge and gel, parifign wax , hot stones and an actual good massage for you legs. Sorry was impressed with your place other it looked nice inside.

Jessica is the BEST Nail tech there at Beauty Bar, she is so amazing and funny and great with artwork and actually knows how to care for you and your nails!! Highly recommend her!💕💕💅🏼

They're really nice, but both times I have been here I have left with a cut that doesn't resemble anything like what I showed them. I'm sad because I've been growing my hair out and I decided to go for bangs, and I did NOT want a shag cut type bang. I wanted a slightly thicker straight across bang, with a few layers in the back of my hair. I had VERY specific pictures of the bangs I prefer. What I was given looks nice, but it's not at all what I asked for. The cut is shaped to my face, which looks good for some people but looks terrible on me. I'm extremely sad. Both the times I have been here they also just blow dry my hair and don't make much of an effort to style. In my review the first three photos were what I showed the stylist, and the last photo is what I walked out with. It will take me a year+ to grow back out the front pieces that got cut. I was also very specific about how I was trying my hardest to GROW my hair out.
Unfortunately, I will not be coming back

This past Saturday I took my boyfriend to get a pedicure for his birthday, I should have kept the money. The lady left his nails a bit jagged enough to scratch and possibly leave a little cut and didn’t get any of the dry skin on the bottom of his feet. I wanted this to be a nice relaxing start to the day but that’s definitely not what it was. Wasted $50+ on something I could have done better myself!

I would recommend anyone to Jessica at Beauty Bar on Powers. I have used her for color and cut for years. She'll listen to your requests and let you know what's involved. She'll make sure you're happy in the end!

Nice staff and even as a walk-in they got fit me in very quickly. I had a gel manicure which was great. Unfortunately, the gel started cracking and pealing away less that 48 hours later. Nice while it lasted but felt a bit disappointed since it had cost $42+tip ($60) in all. Seems like a lot of money for something to only last 2 days.
