I was looking for bridal hair and makeup and a girl I know recommended this studio. I spoke to Brisa and booked my appointment for April 20 and told her I needed to be ready by 9 am. She told me that was fine and that we would have to start at 6:30 am in order for me to be ready by that time. Well I was not ready until 50 minutes after so almost by 10 am. Her mom did my makeup and she took so long doing my makeup and blamed it on my eyebrows. Yes, my eyebrows are not the most perfect ones but they’re the professionals and are supposed to know how to work with different shapes and sizes. We are not all the same. First, my foundation was very light coverage I told her I wanted full coverage she supposedly fixed it. By this time I was already anxious because I was running out of time and she still was working on my makeup. Brisa was not even there yet her mom send her a text to come. When Brisa finally started doing my hair I really wasn’t paying attention anymore because I was so worried about the time it was already pass 9 the time I was supposed to be ready by. When she finally finished, I paid my remaining balance and literally ran out of there when I got in my truck I noticed my foundation was so dark. My forehead and nose looked like someone rubbed dirt on me it was the ugly contour her mom did and my hair was so frizzy and sticky. She used gel on my hair before curling it and I hated the feeling and the way my hair looked. Tears literally came out I couldn’t believe this was happening the morning of my wedding and my ceremony was in less than an hour and I still had to drive home. I got home and removed my foundation it was horrible. After my ceremony I called Brisa and told her how unprofessional it was of them not to have me ready by the time I requested and how her moms makeup was not done correctly and neither was my hair. I paid $360 for the unprofessional and horrible services I received. Brisa was kind enough to refund me half of what I paid but the stress and pain I went through that morning couldn’t be fixed even with half the refund. I definitely do not recommend them please take my word and look somewhere else. Do your research and look at many photos and reviews before booking. Especially for such a special day like your wedding day because many people don’t care about others feelings and just want your money this place is one of them. I’m not sure why it says temporarily closed but they’re still providing services.
