I'm military and needed some mountaineering boots for an upcoming trip. Went into Bentgate while on leave and the staff were exceptional at helping me to select the appropriate boot for what I was getting into. I really appreciated their ability to provide their expert recommendation with humility, avoiding any condescension and just being genuinely excited to set me up for success. They ended up fitting me into a pair of La Sportiva aequilibrium st gtx boots that, paired with a quality gaiter, were absolutely bomber for the trip. Plus they discounted the boots for an out-the-door price of $300 which was by far the best price at any other store or online retailer. I will certainly be a repeat customer.

Great experience with Bentgate purchasing two Aventon adventurer e bikes! Greg Harris was great to work with and very knowledgeable on the bikes and spent quite a bit of time in explaining all functions of the bikes. We would definitely recommend Bentgate if you are looking for e-bikes.

Had a great experience! Friendly, accommodating on the phone when I called ahead of our trip. Equally so in person, guiding us through what level of ski tuning we needed - zero ski dude attitude, which was appreciated. Able to turn skiis around same day, which was a big help.

I really appreciate that these guys rent top notch, well maintained gravel bikes (Warbirds). They were the only outfit I was able to find near Denver that has bikes like this available. Reservations were super easy on the website, and the guys working at the shop were super friendly and helpful. The bike was perfect for the terrain and totally dialed in. There are a ton of great gravel routes right out the front door and cold.beer waiting in Golden when you're done for the day.

Took my skis in to be remounted with new bindings. They did it incorrectly the first time and had to mount them correctly a second time. Staff cited their own error and misjudgment as the cause.
It left 16 additional holes in my skis from the incorrect placement. There version of remedying this was a $50 gift card and waving the mounting fee… this shop obviously had a great reputation. Unfortunate they chose to damage equipment then not replace it.
Pick a different shop to mount skis, not worth the risk.

Stick to the better version of this place aka Neptune. They do not make mistakes like this there.

Every time I come to this place once or twice a year I don’t know why I don’t just shop there more. They only carry top-of-the-line gear and they always have awesome deals going on. Hiking boots, ski equipment, a gift for my wife, they always have the best gear on sale.
