Great atmosphere in an older small hotel. Clean nice rooms. The staff was all friendly and helpful. They have one of the absolute best few breakfasts. Great hot food and actual sausage gravy with good flavor.

Old Apartment Complex converted into a Hotel. Decent accommodations, but could definitely stand some upgrade/renovations. Darla at the front desk went out of her way to make us feel welcome and ensure all of our needs were tended to. Paul ran an abundant and efficient breakfast bar. He chatted with the other guests and provided outstanding recommendations for their travels. Rooms were decent. Furniture could be brought up to date. Sink faucets were neat, but not practical. Main Parking lot was terrible, but there is a gravel lot for overflow. The hotel grounds were pretty and conveniently located to the Hot Springs.

Positive: Location Negative: Heater was not working, woke up at 1:30am with the room freezing at 58 fan was blowing cold air and sounded like a freight train. In addition the TV didn?t work in the main room. We were disappointed at the lack response of hotel staff at these problems.

Staff is welcoming and friendly. The facility is clean and well kept. This is a town with multiple hot springs and this Best Western has its very own little hot springs pool. |Kind of small but easily fits about 6 people. That works because no one really stays in more than 20 minutes or so. |Many fun activities in the area. Fishing, hiking, dinosaur museum, a good brewery. Stayed 2 nights on our way to Montana and next year will stay at least 3. |Reasonable pricing. Decent free bfast daily.

It was unique and I wasn't sure what to make of it at first, but in the end I really liked it!||Yes, the building is historic: there is only one entrance, through the front lobby. We arrived after dark (after the most isolated drive I've ever experienced - through WY, both cool and unsettling at the same time) and the parking lot was pretty dark, that was probably when I felt most uncomfortable. We parked in front, but the overflow lot is kind of out of the way behind the hotel. There was no elevator, which was not a problem for us.||Many people mention the sulfuric smell, and yes, it is present. It didn't particularly bother me - you smell it at first and then you get used to it. Much better, in my opinion, than heavy perfumes or artificial air fresheners. If you're super sensitive to smells, maybe it would be a problem.||We had a really big clean room, a really comfy king bed, good sound insulation, good water pressure, a Keurig (yay!) and very easy access to the state park. We didn't use the hotel's jacuzzi but instead we went to the bathhouse in the state park. Breakfast was also good. And who can resist chocolate chip cookies at the reception desk?||Would stay again!

Beautiful historic hotel in the state park within walking distance to all hot pools. Comfortable beds, hot shower, natural hot springs hot tub, fresh breakfast. It was perfect. The building is historic so the rooms aren’t sound proof but people were respectful.

Best Breakfast in the chain! The hot tub is actually a hot spring! The staff at this hotel operate as if they care about the magnificent old building, and go the extra mile to make sure that the guest experience is a true destination resort, not an overnight motel stay.
