I would not recommend this place for tattoo removal. I had one session here and the skin didn’t frost and noticed no difference in fading over 3 months. I have since been to a provider that specializes in tattoo removal and had 1 session there, where the skin frosted and have noticed significant fading after 1 month.

As a business owner myself, I know how important customer service is, Dr. Brumely, who is the lead nurse there, is clearly not happy to be working with the public. She was condescending and rude to both my sister and I. I had been there twice before, she was luckily not there on my first visit but on my second visit, she made me feel uncomfortable and uptight, and my final and last visit yesterday was inexcusable! The way she spoke to my sister, when she had forgotten her gift certificate was degrading and rude! The actual estheticians there are very nice, but having to meet with her at the front is not worth it! There are other locations for this company, I would suggest trying one of those if at all possible.

Mark stopped by my job today and introduced me to Better U Skin. I will definitely stop by sometime in January and check it out! It sounds like they use all organic products and the prices looked very affordable! I can't wait to try it out!

I can’t attest to their services however I’ve sent two messages via their website and have not received an email, call, text, anything - weeks later - no response. Maybe the 'contact us' section of their website is not operational. Maybe they’re so busy they don’t care to respond. They are appointment only so I imagine it would be in their interest to respond. Perhaps they think somebody who’s requesting a consultation rather than a service isn’t worth contacting (not the case - I’m serious about contracting services). They do not list prices on their website, unlike many other med spas that clearly list the cost of services, which combined with the fact they do not respond to requests for consultation, makes me suspicious of their business ethics. Maybe they went out of business and don’t exist anymore. It’s all speculation I suppose. I don’t know for certain, because they haven’t contacted me.

I bought one of their promotions through Gold Star that was offered at a festival in Mountain View. Better U contracted with Gold Star for this promotion - the promotion sales people are liars and sold services that were not offered. Using their online system to set up an appointment was not easy, finally getting an appointment, to drive thorough an hour and a half of traffic to find out they will not honor the promotion certificate that Gold Star sold was appalling! They said they did not sell the promotion and it was not their responsibility; however, they did set up the contract with Gold Star to sell their product and increase business. The run around on who is responsible, is a waste of time and money for everyone. I have had to contact Goldstar to get a refund - more run around! They say that they processed the refund; however, it does not appear a week later. The only option now is to dispute it with my credit card. More wasted time on this - so not worth it! This whole process was disappointing and a waste of time. Choose a business with better business practices, customer relations and responsible billing practices.
