This was my first professional massage, and Danielle made me feel very comfortable. The room was comfortably warm, and I found the heated table with fleece blankets combined with aromatherapy and ambient music was very relaxing. Danielle managed to get some of my most persistent trouble spots in my neck and shoulders to relax, which I have not been able to with my array of self-care balls and rollers. I had my best night's sleep that night!

Danielle is exceptional! Hands-up the best! Many years ago, I tried out her massage before booking one for my husband as his birthday gift. Her deep-tissue massage alleviated my chronic neck and shoulder pain right away. Needless to say, the massage was a successful birthday gift! My husband and I scheduled regular massage sessions with Danielle, and we both improved significantly, eventually getting rid of the neck and shoulder pain that had bothered us for so long (from activities such as carrying little kids around). I could tell the difference after the massage, especially after a long road trip or intensive exercise. The massage also helps me build awareness of the tension points in my body and serves as a reminder when I forget to slow down, take a breath, stretch, and work on pacing myself through the busy-ness of life.

Danielle is one of the most pleasant human beings to talk to. She is highly knowledgeable in her field, has a great deal of wisdom to share, and strikes the perfect balance in engaging with clients during the massage. She lets me be on days when I get lost in my thoughts; she responds when I ask questions and generously shares her knowledge. Danielle always shares her experiences and honest opinions when our conversations venture out of massages and wellness. I've enjoyed so many pleasant and insightful conversations with her that I look forward to each massage.

I went yesterday for another wonderful massage. Have been having trouble with a stiff neck and sore shoulders, and left feeling much better. Have suffered due to tears in my rotator cuffs (both arms) and massages have eliminated my frozen shoulder and given me back full mobility. I cannot say enough good thinks about Beyond Balance Bodywork. I'm excited to have found someone who is willing to do in-home massages. It's especially helpful as I struggle with mobility issues and not having to leave the house is so helpful.

Danielle is wonderful. She's knowledgeable, kind, and her presence brings so much joy to my home. I have various medical issues and chronic pain, and some other massage places were more about relaxation rather than helping with physical issues (which is fine, just not what I was looking for.) Danielle's understanding of techniques and methods allow her to personalize a massage for her client. She accepts feedback--positive or negative--gracefully and will do what she needs to in order to make sure her clients have the best massage experience possible!
