Our family just finished our 6 day vacation here. The owners are very nice and accommodating. The cabin was very nice and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We were the only ones staying at the property during our time so it was very quiet. We loved the views and my sons loved having access to some play equipment.

We stayed at the Black Forest Lodge for the week of our son's graduation and for his wedding. It was perfect! The cabins are rustic and beautiful and the location couldn't be better. James and Ben are extremely accommodating and prompt to respond to any questions or concerns. We will absolutely stay here again.

We stayed in the cascade cabin and loved it. The secluded area was nice. The cabin is perfect for those who don’t need a fancy place to stay. We loved the rustic log cabin. The bed was comfortable and the cabin was clean. We saw wildlife and a huge buck outside the kitchen window!

Everything about my stay here was amazing!! James was very welcoming and even helped get my family's car unstuck from the snow haha. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous! We got the largest one, and it fit 8 people easily. There was everything and more that you'd need for a stay, which made it super easy for us to relax and enjoy our vacation. I can't express how much me and my family loved staying here, it was the perfect place to vacation, with the sweetest hosts!

We had our wedding here! The venue was lovely and rustic. The views are amazing and the cabins were fantastic! The owners were very accommodating and it was the best value I found for a venue that included renting the whole property and allowed us to byob, choose our own vendors and had all the tables, chairs, table settings, etc available to us!

We stayed in the Cascade Cabin and it was perfect. The bed was comfortable and it was very clean. The staff were beyond kind and very helpful. This cabin is pretty close to the road yet feels very secluded. It was cold when we stayed and the heat was more than sufficient. You can walk/drive to the back of the property and there is an amazing view of Pikes Peak.

We stayed in one of the cabins while we were in town for our son’s wedding. The cabin was the perfect size. While only my husband and I slept there, we were providing food for the rehearsal dinner. The kitchen was a great size with counter space, full size fridge and stove. It was so easy to work in the kitchen. During the prep the power company (NOT the lodge) caused a power issue at the lodge. The owner responded and showed up on site right away to identify if the issue was the lodge or not. He informed us right away that it was a power company issue and when to expect it to come back on (about 20 minutes). The decor is cute and rustic and we enjoyed the wooded setting. We will stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Wow! We stayed here for a long weekend to explore Colorado Springs. The people who run the property couldn't have been nicer! We stayed in the Bonanza cabin. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. My husband and I decided to take a walk through the property; we saw mule deer and rabbits and explored the area. Could not have been more pleased with this stay!!! 10000/10 recommend staying here.
