I really enjoyed the selection of teas here. My young daughter and I stopped in when we were vacationing in Breckenridge for a few days last summer. The owner was helpful in showing us various teas. Some people in the store were ignoring the signs asking people not to open the jars of loose tea. She explained to them why she wasn't able to let people open the jars of loose tea and breathe into them, but she said she was happy to help them. They left in a huff. I suspect people saying the staff are impolite and not helpful are people like this who think the rules of sanitation don't apply to them. She was very helpful to us and even made recommendations about different products based on what we were looking for. I wish we'd bought more when we were there. The teas we bought were amazing.

Great selection of teas and spices. The staff, to me, was friendly and helpful. She takes great pride in what she does and it shows--let her show you!! It seems most reviewers would rather shop alone, but that is not what this store is about. I have enjoyed all of the offerings I purchased while there and would shop there again.

Last minute Christmas Eve shopping landed us at this busy store with an extensive selection of bulk and prepackaged spices and teas. I've shopped here for years and I've never left dissatisfied. Staff working the store has knowledge and expertise. Stop by, you will be happy you did!

I love this place! So many amazing spices and flavoring combinations! There’s also just as much tea, it’s a great gem in Breck for all your tea and spice needs. We are a local family, but this is the type of place we seek out when traveling to find our new favorite rubs.

I am 7 months pregnant and my boyfriend and I walked in to take a look at everything. I didn’t see the sign that said I couldn’t bring my water in and instead of her telling me politely to set it aside she was very rude and was making nasty comments. I have never been treated with such disrespect.

I had a bad experience here. The shop looks amazing, with a huge variety of teas and spices. All the spices and teas are displayed in re-sealable jars.
I did see the many signs everywhere telling you not to smell the teas without assistance. I politely asked to smell one of the teas that I was interested in, so the shop owner opened up the canister. I leaned in to smell and the owner ripped the canister away from me and was immediately scolded (in a very condescending tone) for not allowing the aromas to come up to my nose instead of inhaling the aroma. So apparently i have been smelling things incorrectly all my life.

Anyway, i was going to spend quite a bit of money there buying gifts, but i left without buying anything. I could not bring myself to spend 1 single cent there because of the condescending and downright rude attitude of the shop owner. yuck
