Wonderful getaway! The building is very cozy and feels like home. The rooms are comfortably designed and well stocked with everything you need. Buena Vista is a great spot to relax and enjoy some very quiet and peaceful nights! The complimentary breakfast each morning was also WAY better than expected. The whole experience exceeded my expectations!

My wife and I stayed at the Buffalo Peaks Lodge in early February 2025. It was amazing! The owner Paz is very hospitable, kind, and professional. Her homemade breakfast each morning was delicious, and it was nice to talk to her over meals.

We stayed in the Mt. Oxford room which was very cozy and comfortable. The fireplace was warm and inviting. The jacuzzi is in the bedroom and was very refreshing and relaxing.

It is serene at the Buffalo Peaks Lodge. We loved the tranquility of stargazing at night, where so many of the stars light the sky. We could see so many stars it was wonderful.

This was the perfect two night getaway for our Anniversary, Buena Vista is very peaceful. We loved staying here, and will return!

We have stayed here multiple times and love it. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The owner is readily available and also a great cook! There is plenty to do in and around the lodge or if you prefer to just relax, there is plenty of space in the living area to do that as well. I highly recommend Buffalo Peaks!

We loved our stay at the Buffalo Peaks Lodge from 12/31/24 - 1/4/25. The room was clean and very cozy, the breakfasts were yummy, and our hostess, Kim, was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We highly recommend Buffalo Peaks and hope to return for another visit in the future!

We loved our stay at Buffalo Peaks Lodge. Paz is a welcoming and caring host who provided a delicious breakfast both mornings we were there. Our room was wonderful and looked out on the yard. Extra bonus: deer in the yard early morning and evening. If our travels bring us this way again we will definitely book again.

Buffalo Peaks Lodge is a hidden gem in Buena Vista! The place is spotless, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The atmosphere is cozy, and it truly felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast prepared by Paz—absolutely scrumptious and made with care. The conversations with Paz and other guests were a delight, making the experience even more memorable. I left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to visiting again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a charming getaway in the mountains!

The Innkeeper was really sweet and attentive and the location is great (close to Hot Spring), but the bed was hard and pillows weren’t comfy. Also, the towels in the bath area could use an upgrade (ours were old and did not have a pleasant smell). Sadly, the breakfast prepared by the innkeeper was not good. We mentioned we were in town for my bday and they very nicely got us a store bought cake and card. Overall, good place but we probably wouldn’t stay there again. Probably giving this review a higher rating than I should just bc the Innkeeper was a sweet lady.

Very nice B&B. Our host was very kind and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, we slept great. Really good views. We will definitely return.
