Capay Valley Lavender

Their Facebook page was a bit misleading. The pictures posted was a beautiful field of lavender that was in full bloom, very vibrant and purple. It was posted “4 days ago” so it made us think it was a recent picture. I wish they would’ve stated that the picture was from a previous date. Therefore we went too early. The lavender has yet to bloom. Kind of disappointed. We headed over to check out the tiny store. Very cute with ample selection. Made a few purchases even though the two girls who worked there wasn’t too friendly. They didn’t greet us or say hi. We didn’t feel welcomed. There was another couple wandering around inside the store also. Side note: the lavender ice was delicious.

We came early since the lavender hasn't bloomed yet but was still a beautiful experience. The gift shop was full of wonderful products and goodies including baking kits, bath products, and ice cream. My nephew LOVES the ice cream. We will be back to see everything bloom in June ❤️

Absolutely beautiful and very friendly hosts, don’t miss out on the ice cream, it’s a must. We’ll try to be back before June is over!

We came recently for the Golden Hour Sunset Stroll, and it was such a great experience! The lavender was in full bloom, the fields were beautiful and the lavender ice cream was absolutely delicious. Both Sherri and Richard (the owners) were so friendly and knowledgeable, would absolutely recommend visiting for a lovely weekend getaway

Photographers and nature lovers, this is a must. Who said you have to go to France for the beauty of lavender fields?! Sherri has brought the fields... and her fragrant products and educational workshops... to us. Thank you Sherri for creating and sharing such a special place. I will be back again and again.

I visit the farm on June 29th. The farm is nice, the lavender smell so good. The restroom is cleaner than somewhere I came. I give 5 stars for Capay valley lavender.

I was so impressed with the overall landscape, grounds and knowledge of this California lavender farm. It stretches far and wide, including a beautiful arrangement of their culinary lavender varieties. Definitely worth visiting!

Sherri’s 6 acre lavender farm is amazing. Come June of 2019 when the lavender is in bloom, it’s going to be breathtaking!
