I CANNOT imagine not finding this AMAZING salon! Meeting Aleigha was the best thing that I could have asked for to help me with all things hair!! I have always struggled with damage to my hair and postpartum hair loss! I have worn extensions on and off for as long as I can remember! The past 2 years I have LOVED coming to see Aleigha for my extensions/color and I have gained so much confidence back!
Captivate Salon is a must visit for anyone looking to get extensions and/or color! You will NOT be disappointed!

A+++++! We recently moved back to CO. We’ve moved a lot, and it’s always hard to find a good stylist. I have extensions, which makes it even harder, but I was referred to THE BEST stylist off of Wilcox. Captivate Salon is such a great salon. The owner, Aleigha, is incredibly talented. Anyone can learn how to be a stylist, but not everyone has that inherent talent that she has. Her knowledge about any kind of extension is extensive. She’s so good, she is paid to travel around the country, teaching other stylists how to work with Bellami extensions. I have very fine hair and have used all kinds of different extensions for 20+ years, and I have NEVER had a stylist as good as Aleigha. None of my extensions have fallen out, and they look amazing! She excels at everything. Color, cuts, extensions, etc. The other stylists at her salon are highly trained and excellent, too. I also love how she runs her salon. When you walk in, you aren’t called a customer, you’re a guest. Those little things really do make a difference. She is also incredibly accommodating. I have been sick for many months, and have been fainting a lot. I obviously can’t drive, or even take a walk by myself. I couldn’t believe when she offered to come to my house to get my extensions done! People just don’t do things like that anymore. I know this is a long review, and I could continue to sing her praises, but this is too long already. Go experience this for yourself. Phenomenal. You won’t be disappointed. Oh, and P.S., half of her salon is a barbershop.

Not recommended for bridal service at all.
The makeup artist they assigned to me didn’t even meet me until I agreed to schedule a trail appointment which usually costs $200 with assirional deposit of $100 that only covers makeup trail. The hair trail will be additional cost ($200 more).
She asked me if I have inspirational pictures and I showed her reels and quick makeup tutorials and she said “ok I can do it”. So here we go I’m excited!
At the end after I was finally allowed to see myself in the mirror, I was shocked! I looked like a panda clown (black/brown rounded eyes with random lashes that were all over the place (up/down and left/right) I was CONFUSED as I didn’t know how to address it without hurting her. So I kindly said no this is not what I am looking for and thank you for trying out the lashes but as I stated in my email communication and verbally earlier that day that I’m not a lashes person (but since she insisted so I agreed). Her response was with attitude “no you asked for dramatic makeup”. which I don’t know what does that mean honestly! Those words never came out of my mouth!
Then I was told that I need to look for a cultural makeup artist or niche makeup artist (lowering doses typology lol), which was not very pleasant to hear! And def not professional! I played the game of English is my second language and that I didn’t understand what she means so my response to her was oh that’s good to know! I didn’t know that and asked her how can I find those services and she simply said oh just search on google and book them! Lol
I received a call later after I arrived home from a very understanding person who works there to tell me that they are sorry and they are offering me $10 credit for the experience so I was requested to pay $190 instead of $200 for a nightmare experience! I told her I’m sorry I don’t agree and if the artist was already aware that she is not going to be able to do the makeup that I asked for, why did she proceed with it?!
She didn’t have colors that suit my skin color, why wouldn’t she just say I’m sorry I don’t have the right products for you? But I’m willing to pay for her time not for the rubbish and random collection of products of hers. They ended up not charging me for the disaster trail but taking my deposit money and canceling my hair appointment which is three weeks before my wedding!
They also mentioned that they do have makeup artists who are more specialized in glam makeup but they are already booked. So yes they charge you same price regardless the makeup artist you’re getting (apparently they have levels, but the prices seem the same). Based on my contract I was expected to pay a premium price for someone who didn’t even know how to say I’m sorry up front or even at the end at least instead of telling me that I needed to look for a cultural makeup artist and that she already felt that we are not a good match. She made me look like a clown or ready to wear a Halloween costume, caked my face up with layers and layers of unknown products that irritated my skin for two days.
I couldn’t stop the nightmare that was being done to my face because she prevented me from checking myself during the process and was pressured to wait until she’s done with her first stage (those layers were just her first stage!). Finally when I was able to see my face I was shocked again with the perfect panda face (no blending AT ALL) pink/red tomato cheeks and bluish white lines under my eyes with layers of shadow mixed with the concealer.
Note: I was told while she was grabbing the mirror that she knows or expecting me to ask her to add more layers🤯 I’m automatically expected to have layers and layers of wrong color makeup and look like clown by her for some reason. However, I really feel sorry for her after all as she seems that she lives in a bubble, which is unfortunate!
Oh btw she removed the lashes bc she claim they didn’t fit well because I slept on my face (which I don’t) and started removing the makeup little while she was wrapping up so I’m sorry I didn’t have picture to share!

Shauna was absolutely amazing! She did my make-up perfectly, and was so patient with me as I was panicking on my big day. She made sure I was okay and that I had everything I need to stay calm, while also staying on time. Would give 10 stars if I could.
