First, I would like to say I have extremely thick hair and I’m NATURAL! Secondly, I just took out some knotless braids and needed a miracle! Lastly, I chose Ms. Char because her times were very CONVENIENT for my work schedule, her location is CONVENIENT to my home, and her prices were REASONABLE! I enjoyed my experience with her from the beautiful, CLEAN shop, thorough detangle, shampoo, steam, blow dry, and straightening of my hair to her positive attitude/vibes! First off, when I walked into Ms.Charr’s beautiful hair salon, the ambience was so welcoming, the place was extremely spotless! I was greeted with a smile and positive energy that you rarely find these days. Ms. Charr was extremely tired and was on her last client, I was scrambling trying to find a stylist bc of an emergency and she STILL accepted me and did my hair. She was so nice and kind our conversations were of substance & regardless of her being so tired she didn’t rush the services whatsoever and that speaks so much about her character that I admire. I respect her & her braids were so crisps & clean I knew the moment I she was finished that I was coming back & the was prior to me even looking in the mirror @ the finished service! Look ladies and gents if you want someone with positive energy, someone who respects your hair, someone who is sanitary and cleans her tools & washes her hands before and after each and every client then i HIGHLY recommend Ms. Charr @ Chique Impressions Hair salon. You won’t be disappointed and you will not be spending an arm and a leg. Everything about my experience was five stars. The booking was simple and easy. Char is professional and very good at her job. My styles always comes out perfect. I have had box braids and most recently natural two-strand twists done by Char and I have always been satisfied with the results. I would definitely recommend Chique impressions for your hair care needs.

My daughter is attending Bama from Indiana and had to find someone in Tuscaloosa to do her hair. Char has been FANTASTIC! It’s easy to make an online appointment and she’s done boho knotless braids, crochet braids and a silk press and every one of these turned out great. My girl has A LOT of hair and has been turned away other places but Char welcomed her in and took terrific care of her and her hair.

The best salon experience I’ve EVER had! Very clean and friendly staff! Nice aesthetics and accommodating. I’ve been multiple times and have yet to have anything other than a great experience. Honorable Mention: The owner, Char, does my hair and she kills it! Neat, precise braids and styles exactly how you asked and cares about your natural hair as well and educates you how to take care of your hair based on your texture, etc. and recommends great products to use.
