I’m relatively new to the Bay Area and have yet to find my go-to hair salon. That is, until now! Citrus blew my expectations out of the water. Every place around me was charging $120 just to walk in the door, I can’t believe I got such a nice cut for $67 here. The atmosphere is so lovely, the staff felt so warm and I left with exactly what I was looking for. Angelina was my stylist and she was so kind, funny and gave me the perfect cut. I’ll definitely be back and am telling all my friends to come here!

Easily the best salon I have ever been to.

*Every hair stylist is wonderful, kind, and skilled.
*I have very long hair and a full highlight/cut is done in about 3 hours—so fast without sacrificing quality and extreme attention to detail.
*They have complimentary snacks to make the experience more comfortable and enjoyable.
*Their sinks are SO comfy. I was used to neck pain from hanging on the standard bowl shaped sinks—theirs are squishy and flat. No neck strain whatsoever.
*It’s clear the team is exceptionally trained and cared for ❤️

As far as salons go, Citrus Salon really feels like a cut above the rest (no pun intended). I’ve had the pleasure of having my hair cut and colored by Steph and Kat on several occasions. My appointments always started with a thorough consultation, no matter how many times I’ve come before. It’s nice to feel like I’m getting the highest level of attention and care for my hair, especially as someone who is working on building up my hair’s health. I also like that the salon offers opportunities for continued education for its stylists, and is an involved member of the community. Just generally good vibes all around.

I’ve had my hair cut by Karalynn and by Liliana. I felt like they were careful to understand exactly what I wanted, especially when I didn’t know the terminology. I’ve always been soooo happy with my hair at Citrus. I got a cut from Liliana during her training and she was so skilled and the educator was attentive and praised her work. It makes me confident to go for new looks when I trust the stylist. So fun and I feel so pretty. 🙂

It’s been a while since I went to this Salon, over. A year. I went in because of the good reviews. I won’t say Amber was not nice, she was; I believe that is the stylist name - Amber. I requested a. Peekaboo, I had already started the process at a different salon but thought is was to far and the service I had was not great. Anyway, Amber said she could get my hair to the silver platinum that I was looking for, my hair is naturally really black. She tried, which I appreciated, but during the last 2 of 4 sessions I told her that maybe i would just go a different route because I didn’t want to continue putting stress in my hair with the bleach. She insisted my hair could take it. After the last (4th session) she did decide to go with a caramel brown. A little too late, all the bleaching ended up breaking my hair. I think she knew what had happened and chose not to tell me. When i noticed my bleached parts were breaking I wasnt really mad, just disappointed. And every time I paid I over $200 and gave 20-25% tip.

This is the most amazing salon. I found out about Citrus on a Facebook recommendation, and I’m so glad I did. Not only is their work with hair amazing EVERY time, but they have really unique amenities and truly exceptional customer service. As an introvert, the game-changer for me was the email I got about the new program offering “quiet appointments.” I love talking to my stylist, though sometimes I need the peaceful moment in my day. The program itself demonstrates the thoughtfulness of this team toward client needs. I look forward to every appointment!

I just moved to the area and was looking for a new place to get my haircut and a friend suggested that I should check-out Citrus. Once I showed up for my appointment I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome and offered something to drink. My hairstylist Jacqueline had amazing energy and enthusiasm from the start and was confident about getting my hair to look how I wanted. Needless to say she did exactly that and even offered to schedule me in for my next haircut in preparation for an event that I had mentioned during our conversation. Very happy with my experience here!
