Office was nice. Front desk ladies and assistants were great. The doctor “ Amir “ was very eager to start me on medications I informed her i’ve taken in the past that has not helped so why would it be different this time? Why not go another route to solve the problem. I had more than one concern and it seemed like too much for her to process. She asked me twice was I comfortable which made me uncomfortable at that point. Stated she would get one of the male providers neither of them came for 15 minutes so I left. One star because the doctors obviously are not as skilled as the reviews say.

After a couple of mistakes, I was about to go to another Dermatologist, but got a free facial for their error so I went. I'm so glad I did!! Nicole was amazing! Explained everything she was going to do and how to treat the redness I have. I highly recommend a facial by Nicole! No pressure to buy product and she was very nice and down to earth!!

This place has terrible customer service. I found them looking for a dermatologist via my insurance portal. I tried to schedule an appointment using their online tool only to be told they may not accept my insurance. I called their office to confirm if they do and they wouldn't even tell me and said I had to call my insurance to confirm. Called my insurance and confirmed the are in network and scheduled an appointment only for them to cancel with zero explanation and zero phone calls. Seems like lazy or just plain terrible customer service.

I recently had my first-ever facial here, and I can't praise Shay enough for the incredible experience. She thoroughly explained the process and consistently checked in to ensure I was comfortable throughout. My skin has never felt so soft or looked so radiant. The compliments I received after the weekend were just the icing on the cake! Shay has a calm, positive energy, and it's clear she truly loves what she does. She made sure I left feeling and looking my absolute best. The whole experience was nothing short of delightful—10 out of 10, I highly recommend Shay for your first or next facial. Thank you, Colorado Skin Surgery and Dermatology, for having such dedicated professionals who take pride in their work. It's a rare find these days. And thank you again Shay for such a positive experience.

I returned some of their medical equipment I found in a storage unit auction and was told they would reimburse me for returning their items as I paid a lot of money for the unit. See attached pictures. Long story short I delivered their equipment to them, I drove it from Colorado Springs and was told they would be in touch. And they have avoided me or said someone would contact me ever since I delivered their equipment. This was July of last year. I would not want them performing any medical procedures on me, if they are dishonest in this situation, can you imagine what they would do to you in a medical procedure?

I would not recommend this practice for tattoo removal or laser services. It is overpriced, outdated, and possibly dangerous.

I wish I had asked more questions before scheduling a consult because their business model seems to be reliant on consultation fees rather than the treatments themselves.

1. Their equipment (q switch) is outdated; the machine quite literally was covered in dust.

2. The doctor said their standard practice is to take two passes over an area and emphasized how this is “good value”. In reality, this could result in hypopigmentation or be necessary if the laser isn’t calibrated and isn’t effective on pass one. To have a patient receive a treatment and sit for 20 minutes before getting another “pass” makes sense only if the laser isn’t effective on the first go around.

Going over the area twice could lighten the skin underneath which is a really undesirable outcome for someone trying to remove a tattoo.

3. My all black ink tattoo is 1 inch x 2 inches and halfway gone and I was quoted $650; almost 3x what I paid in a hospital based setting previously. This is honestly an insane price for such outdated tech.

I am 77 and had skin cancer on my nose which was removed. I went to the appointment a little apprehensive but both Dr Franklin and her assistant Kim made me feel at ease in the whole procedure went perfectly.

I’ve had micro needling done twice with Shay now, and she always does such a great job! She is very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. She also continuously checked in with me throughout the treatment and made sure I was comfortable. I’m so happy with how my skin looks after seeing Shay!
