What a wonderful atmosphere!! All-star staff!! If you were shooting for a warm and inviting environment, you nailed! I felt right at home from the moment I walked in to the building. I found such a professional and knowledgeable group of employees waiting eagerly to help me. Simply amazing!!!

**UPDATE** More surprises when I find out this provider is not even in network for MetLife. So be aware when scheduling if you chose to come here you are likely in for a fun and expensive ride.

We moved our family to Dr Echols in January, we were super impressed and excited to have what seemed to be great provider. My daughter had several cavities that needed filling ( I questioned how that could be since we have regular cleanings and good oral hygiene. I was told several reasons that seemed plausible, so we scheduled her appointments to have the fillings put in. I prepaid for the out pocket portion roughly $405 even with insurance up front before my daughter arrived. Imagine my surprise when I received an additional bill for $651 dollars. When I called the office I left a message that there must be a problem because we had pre-paid. The return phone call from a very snarky young lady said that our insurance doesn't cover the white fillings used by the dentist. I asked then why use them, she said that BCBS did not tell them they wouldn't cover it. I asked but if you use a product that some insurances don't cover why not verify up front before performing the procedure and risk your patience incurring another astronomical bill she giggled and said they don't do that. It is shocking to me that a dentist who has been in business this long doesn't think this step is necessary unless they are trying to be deceptive?

This practice is the worst experience I have ever had with a medical facility. I would recommend everyone to stay far far away. This front desk quoted me a price for a procedure (the self pay rate) because they told me my insurance would not cover what I needed done, completely understand and was thankful that they offered a self pay rate at cheaper than what they would bill insurance. The procedure went terribly, I had to return to the office 5 times in one week due to intense pain and discomfort that was caused by the doctors inability to listen to me and my concerns, which were written off multiple times when in fact they had left sealant in between my teeth that was only found by one of the techs when I had to beg them to take an x-ray because I knew it felt like my teeth were shifting. Fast forward to 10 months later, I receive a bill in the mail (after calling to cancel my appointment due to moving states and being told that there was not a balance on my account) for almost triple what I was quoted and have already paid them. Apparently, they charged my insurance (without my consent) and weren't happy with the reimbursement rate so I am now being charged triple the price and Stephanie in billing was incredibly rude and condescending with all correspondence and then began to ignore me and instructed the front desk staff to do as well. I have asked 4 times in the last 6 months to speak with someone who is not Stephanie and am repeatedly ignored. As a provider myself I am appalled and would never recommend this place to anyone unless you want to be scammed out of money.

Have gotten three crowns so far with little pain…expected some from any dental practice. The two dentists were both very professional along with the staff. Once I get the final bill I can determine how happy I am with the whole encounter!

A professional team that put me at ease to get the job finished. Stormy was my dental assistant, Dr. Echoes was my dentist. They work well as a team.
Note ~ I’ve been afraid of dentist since my childhood. I would’ve never come to a dentist if it had not been an emergency. Because of their professionalism and treating me well, I have found me a Dentistry. I also drive 45 minutes one way~

Great staff! Dr. Echols is extremely skilled with all the up to date technology. They explain the details and cost of a procedure very well. I strongly recommend them!

Signed in at front desk and my wait time was 20 or so minutes . Friendly smiling young lady walked me to X-ray and back to wait area then I was escorted to exam and Dr Porter explained what options were available to me. All personnel were friendly and helpful.

I am so pleased very with the dental care I received at Cullman Cosmetic & Family Dentistry. I have had all fillings replaced with new fillings that match my teeth and crowns where needed. I am very proud of my new dental results.
My thanks to Dr. Porter and other staff that made this dental makeover very comfortable. My expectations were definitely met.
