The lady was extremely nice but I was very upset with how my hair came out after getting a perm my end were extremely gummy and falling part my hair is absolutely fried and I believe an professional should be able to tell when a clients hair has become very fried. The owner continued to call me after I made my first review and says it was my fault I didn’t let them complete dry it and style it so they could not have been able to tell if it was fried of no which is a lie the second I got in the car I saw my end and new my hair was extremely messed up. I ended hanging up on the owner for my being able to be and adult and own up to having the fault of letting a client leave there salon knowing that my end where so dead and fried. It’s crazy how adults can’t own up to anything now a days.

Everyone makes mistakes, it’s how you handle them that speaks to who you are and what kind of business you run. The gaslighting and rudeness when given an opportunity work together to fix an issue should be a HUGE red flag to anyone considering going here. 🚩🚩🚩

I went to the owner of this salon because she cut my son’s hair and I thought she did a fine job. I explained to her that I needed a very natural highlight look because of upcoming military duty. I asked her to blend the root area and make it look like natural growth, painted on in a balayage style. I also told her that I only do this twice a year so I’d like it to last as long as possible. Then the following happened:

- she disparaged the work of the prior person who did my hair even though she did a great job 🚩

- I watched her slather on the product without any care to blend it but I second guessed myself and trusted her process.

- She told me it would be small/fine highlights; they came out chunky and awful. There was no blending whatsoever. It looked like I had gotten highlights to my root 2 months ago and they had grown out in a blunt line when I walked out of the salon. Would have expected better from someone just out of beauty school.

- I thought about just letting it go but then decided to call her because her work had made me be out of compliance with military regulations and I’d have to fix it, plus she did the opposite of what I asked for with the look so I was hoping she would be willing to meet in the middle and make it right.

- As soon as I called and explained the lack of blending issue, her tone became very short, irritated and rude. She refused to look at pictures or to discuss what could be done. She insisted I drive the 40 minutes in so she could look at the hair herself.

- I did so. She was rude, obnoxiously dismissive and short with me immediately. I asked her what we could do to blend and she said there was nothing that could be done other than toning it. I asked for details about how that would fix a stark line, where exactly the toner would be applied, if it would change the color of all of my hair and all of the existing highlights? She refused to answer my questions and was very dismissive. She told me the blunt line is something I would always have to deal with no matter what hairdresser did the hair. Lol 🤡

- She refused to answer my questions in such a dismissive way that I asked if there was a problem and why she was being so standoffish. She told me “because I know what needs to be done and I just want to get on with it.” That inspires confidence! 🫠

- I told her this was my hair and I wanted to understand what was going to be done with it and how it would fix the problem, but at that point I was done trying to convince her to be civil and to stand by her work. It was clear she was unskilled and deeply defensive and insecure, needing to gaslight her clients instead of working with them to correct her own obvious carelessness and lack of skill. She told me there was nothing wrong with my hair, that I had “unrealistic expectations” and that anybody else would have done it the same way.

I am posting pictures here to show exactly what she thinks is completely fine so you know what you’re getting if you consider coming here for color. This is good work to her. She flat out refused to do any color correction other than to just dump on toner, and then cut me off with a “UH NO” when I asked for half of the highlight cost refunded since I will have to get this fixed.

I’m sure she will remain on brand and post a snarky, defensive reply like she has done to all the other negative reviews, but that just shows you who you are dealing with.

Yesterday my daughter went to get her nails done. And the technician at this shop totally dropped the ball. Absolutely the worst pedicure and manicure that I personally ever seen. When I got home, she was crying because the nails were done so bad. I will never use this salon again and I would suggest that nobody else goes there.I mean, absolutely horrible work.There was no attention to detail.The nails were uneven,Chunky, not filed down properly they didn't even get the french tip right on her toes. She spent over a $100 on nails that 10-year-old could of done better at home. Very disappointing and disheartening especially Since this was supposed to be for her prom.Now we have to figure out an alternate solution which means more money.

Went for my first set of acrylic nails at 55 yrs old and I must say I'm very pleased with them and would recommend her to anyone wanting to try acrylic or maybe gel nails

I have never been to such unprofessional stylist. Doesn't talk at all!! Over priced for the terrible services. First time color and trim was uneven all over. Second visit. Again uneven color and trim. My color up above forehead. After the color my color looked like it was grown out for 8wks. .I will never, ever go back. The most horrible experience with a new salon. I will not recommend anyone to go to this so called salon!

I am from out of town, visiting from Arizona. I needed a change really bad ! They were able to fit me right in. Because it was a drastic change I was asking for, she really made it a point to make sure I understood the haircut I was getting. I appreciated that.
At the end of it all I loved, loved loved my haircut, woke up and am still I love with this drastic change ! Thank you divine experience for lightening my load a little bit and having some of the best customer service to date.

I decided to get my hair cut the other day and decided to go here since it had walk-ins. The first thing I noticed was how clean and bright the place was. Everyone was very nice and even though I didn't have an appointment I didn't have to wait very long at all. I found out they do massages there so I decided to give it a try another day, it was great made me feel relaxed. I can't say anything about the nails since well I'm a man so don't need my nails done sorry. I can't say enough good things about Divine Experience and Phylisa. If I had a wife I would definitely have her go there!
