I don’t recommend this hotel and I’m not a negative person. I can usually find good in everything but with this hotel I really couldn’t find much good. The room was clean but small and old. The pool was out of order,not that we had wanted to use it. Ice machine was out of order. Breakfast was… you could make a waffle, there were a few muffins that were pre packaged, coffee was like coloured water. And trains go by often and they are loud and they run right across the street from the hotel.

When I first walked in, I had to call the front desk three times before somebody finally came to check me in. Phone just rang over and over. During my 3rd call, the guy finally showed up. The first thing I noticed was the lobby looks like it hadn't been vacuumed in a few months. First let me start off by saying I don't mind an old hotel that's outdated. My problem is the cleanliness. The bed and the carpets were filthy. From dirt and hair, to who knows what else. See for yourself. On the plus side, the bathroom was the only thing clean.

If I could give this location a 0 star, I would. Walking in the place it looked disgusting. I’m really big on customer service and it was awful coming from the owner! Pathetic. Drove 3 hours to get here, owner denied my family stay @ 10 pm, because I was trying to change my stay from two nights to one night because of how janky the hotel was from first impression by just walking through the door, it was taking a moment for my booking agent customer service to answer and the owner got fussy. He said he couldn’t contact them but once I finally talked the agency, they said he couldn’t. So he was not being honest! Pool is closed and it didn’t say that anywhere on the booking site. For warning, If you’re staying in la junta, stay anywhere but here.

Very bad place to stay. The trash outside was full and trash all over the ground. The shower had hair in it and the fan in the ceiling was gone and a bunch of dirt was hanging from it. On top of that we stayed at this place cause it had a pool and hot tub which were both broken according to the guy. We looked in the pool room and was full of old furniture and air conditioners. We tried to stay elsewhere but the other hotels were booked

Either gave my room away to someone else or just being plane lazy. I drove 5hrs right away after work only to come here and find out they gave my room away or just didn't take it down. It is now 11:45 at night. When I asked all the guy at the desk could say was I don't have any rooms even after my booking was confirmed. Back of the place looked empty too. I'm tired of these janky places...

Better than I expected! The interior seemed re-done recently and the ceiling fan in the room was a bonus. Everything was clean, breakfast was limited (but to be expected with continental), and the hotel was quiet, which was nice.

Doesn’t look much when you roll up, but this place was really great. Surprisingly really really quiet, clean and good size rooms and very comfortable bed. Shower was strong and hot, plenty of coffee in the room and the usual breakfast on in the morning. Aircon was quiet and good set of channels on the TV. Hotel was close to some good restaurants, fast foods and Walmart Supercenter. Will definitely stay here whenever I come thru La Junta. Price was very reasonable, it was a Monday nite when I stayed. Now on my favorites list. 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
