We booked this motel on line through Expedia. Based on the pictures from online, the motel seemed clean and for a good price. It was dark upon arrival when we went to check in. At check in, front desk was unable to find our reservation and did not have the room we requested available. They did however have another room with two queens available for the same price. When we got to the room, it was obviously dated, seemed cleaned. My husband sat our bag down on the table and when to the restroom. Upon entering the rest , when turning on the light, no less than 20-30 little cockroaches scurried around the bathroom craving in and on the shower, walls, and floor. I did pull back the blankets on the bed and sheets had spots on them. I did not need to look further. We immediately left and went back to the front desk to let them know we could not stay in there in these unsanitary and unsafe conditions. We were not offered a refund or another room. DO NOT stay here. We are attempting to get a refund through Expedia and the hotel refused to refund through them.

I was very pleased with my stay. It appears they're slowly remodeling the hotel room by room and they're really doing it right. The hotel doesn't look great from the outside. But when I walked into the room I was pleasantly surprised by now nice it was. So I would say they're spending their money on what's important to the guest. I would definitely stay here again.

Booked a smoking room 3weeks in advance check in is at 3 arrived at 330 or so. They had given us a non smoking room. Front desk lady called manager he wouldn't answer from her personal phone so she used hotel phone he switched us to a smoking room but had to send cleaning lady to make sure room was ready. We had to use our key to let her in so she could clean and ready room. No ice machine offered to give us ice trays to put in freezer. A ceiling tile was popped up. Bathtub drips. Bed had a flat sheet instead of a fitted One little trash can in bathroom. The coffee pot still had coffee grinds and coffee in pot Luckily it's right next to a Walmart and food places. But hey the ac worked great.

Cigarette smells and bed bugs!

Two stars may be a bit generous. It's a cheap motel and you get what you pay for - although when I stayed with a few friends, everything around was sold out, and it wasn't especially cheap. The place looks like it's had a half-hearted make over and some repairs. The AC worked well and the beds were clean and fairly comfortable. However both the "Non Smoking" rooms we had, smelled of smoke. Worse, one of the rooms had bed bugs and my friends were bitten.

I stay in hotels and motels almost every single week - have been doing so for years. Its only the second time I've ever encountered bed bugs. I appreciate the "New Management" and all that, but will most definitely avoid this place in future. If it's the only place in town with rooms, then I'll go as far as I have to, to find another hotel.

My husband and I stayed here last night and we were SO impressed! The room was beautiful, the bed was SO comfortable, the ROKU tv was huge and the AC was nice and cold. The people in the office were so kind! I don’t have any complaints! We would definitely stay again!

If you stay you should check out the Taco truck about a mile away! Best tacos ever.

This hotel looks very rough and parts are but I stayed in 106 and was really surprised. It was clean, fresh smelling and freshly renovated. The bed was comfortable it was quiet except for the semi with the Jake brake at 4:40am. The room had a new microwave and fridge with freezer. I was pleasantly surprised that the room had a smart tv so I was able to stream Netflix and Amazon. If I was a lady you might want to wait until they clean up the rest of the property but they are working on it. As a single guy that travels a lot I felt pretty safe. I normally stay in Marriott hotels mainly because they have smart tvs but I would stay there again. I hope they continue to improve on the property to make it look nicer. The people seemed very nice.

The owner is more than accommodating. Didn’t have a blow dryer in room and owner sent for a new one. Bed is more than comfortable. Walked in to one of the best smelling rooms I have ever stayed in. I stay in motels and hotels several times a month and this place you can’t say enough about its quality. Hard to change the outside of an old motel but they sure did a great job on the inside. If you going to Mena this is where to stay!
