We came in on a Friday afternoon with transmission problems with our Mercedes Sprinter motorhome. They didn't have time to work on it being so late in the day they said they would get to it Monday morning. They let us stay in the parking lot all weekend with Electric hookup which helped us greatly because the weather was so hot. Monday a mechanic named Matt took care of our problem that same day. Special Thanks goes out to Spencer and Rick for all their help with us. They treated us like royalty and we're very courteous and kind to us. Great guys! If I was their boss I would give them a raise. If you have problems with your Mercedes Sprinter go see Fred's Truck Center Matt is the expert on them. A great team!

DO NOT BRING YOUR TRUCK OR RV HERE!!! We planned for a minor repair on our RV with this company for six weeks. We live in it in the Black Hills. We communicated with them numerous times. When they got the part we made an appointment on a specific date and time, making it clear to them that we needed it done the same day. Today we packed everything up and brought it in right on time at 10:00. Our service rep was Ricky. We had a whole conversation about how we needed it by 3:30 because our parrot needs seizure medication. He told me that should be no problem at all because the mechanic scheduled to work on it was about ready to pull it inside and begin working on it. At 2:52 we asked if we can have an update on it. He responded almost an hour later at 3:42. His response was the mechanic “hasn’t even had a chance to pull the one he had out from yesterday to even address yours.“ We had no choice but to go and pick it up. All we got was a simple “I’m sorry“ from Ricky. No one else in the building gave a darn about the situation. No management was to be found anywhere nor was any solution offered. This is the most unprofessional place I’ve been to with our RV or any vehicle for that matter.

My wife and I were on a cross-country trip in our (Midwest Automotive Designs) Mercedes Sprinter RV and we had issues with our diesel engine. The engine went into limp mode and we were only halfway into our 8,700 mile trip. Thankfully Floyd's Truck Center was only a few miles away in Rapid City, SD. (They have locations in 4 states) Onsite were 2 Sprinter techs. They were able to figure out the issue and made the necessary repairs.
A BIG shout out to Rick Williams, service writer, who kept us informed of the progress and helped figure out the issue. He is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. He definitely goes above and beyond to make certain you are satisfied.
Thank you again Rick for helping us get back on the road.
We definitely recommend this company.

We purchased our 2022 Western Star from Floyd’s about 3 years ago. Sales parts and service have always taken good care of us. Rick and Spencer in the service department always ho out of their way to help us even with questions when we’re out of state at other shops. The easy part is buying work truck-the real challenge is getting good service once the sale is made. Spencer and Rick have made the service dept a reliable shop for us. Everyone at Floyd’s has been good to work with . Haul & Tow Transport

Buyer beware
The nicest people, Spencer and Jenny are great and I believe are truly trying to help everyone however I am quite concerned with their charging practice. We have spent the last six days at Floyd’s with little resolution to our problems with our Tiffin Wayfarer 24TW. Today we were there for 4 hours with nothing done to our RV but diagnostics and a test drive and they charged us $783.23.

Our '04 Cummings diesel pusher had no power and was on the verge of overheating, and our generator was shutting down as we made our way across the I90. Found Floyd's Truck Center on the internet, called and spoke to Zack (this was on a Saturday). He set us up with a Tuesday morning appointment. Working with Spencer and the team was a great experience. They fixed the power and the overheating issue, and serviced the generator (working great!). It was such a relief not to worry about the performance of our rigg and genset as we continued our journey. Thank you to Spencer and the whole team. They did a fine job and repairs were very reasonable.

This was our third trip to this Truck Shop for maintenance items on our Sprinter Motorhome. Our service advisor Ricky Williams was fantastic to work with. Very patient and informed us of what was happening with our vehicle. Their shop is extremely clean, they have a very nice lobby to relax in, and I highly recommend going over to Beau's Cafe for Breakfast or lunch. We will be back when we need another service.

RV Motorhome Review 8-3-25

Came in for annual service and a to replace the AC compressor. The tech accidentally broke a sensor while working on the system. To his and the shops credit, I received a call letting me know what happened, and that they already ordered a replacement.
I appreciate the upfront honesty Floyd’s staff demonstrated as a matter of how they do business. The integrity of this visit will bring me back as my go to shop.

We very much appreciated the kind, timely and professional service on our 2014 Tiffin Phaeton diesel pusher RV. We had to have it towed here after already having it misdiagnosed on July 7, towed to a different service center on July 16, who did nearly 5K worth of work, releasing us on July 22 that didn't resolve the problem leading us to be towed for a second time to Rapid City shortly after we were back on the road from the last dealer. Your Service Writer Ricky Williams was compassionate and provided us upfront, straight and accurate information and ensured the right technician(s) were assigned to finally fix the problem. We've run it for a few days now and just crossed the Big Horn Mountains from Buffalo to Cody with no problems. Thanks to all!

Nate and Ricky were awesome. Broke arm to wiper and they were terrific to accommodate us and do the repair. Top service! Thanks for caring for our RV on our journey from Washington State to Wisconsin. The parts person was excellent about finding the correct part and expedited the part for us. Thanks again!
