I want to support this Gelson’s in whatever way I can. Parking is never a problem. The meat and fish and cheese counter are very high quality. The produce is too high priced for me but there are many items at Gelson’s that are lower priced here. You might have to be a very discerning shopper to notice but there are many ways this has always been a special store and it still is. The staff working there are better than any other store I know of. This is a great store for special items, hard to find items and great across the board quality, even if a bit more in cost in certain areas. A class act.

Their location in the underground parking level is unfortunate. There's an odor on that parking level that I noticed immediately. It went away once inside the store but I couldn't help but think how all that air was probably being circulated. Packaged foods are fine but I wouldn't feel comfortable buying fresh seafood or meats here. The store itself is fine and not very crowded.

very clean store with quality products and a friendly staff.

I recently called in a flower order for 2/14. Lori, the floral manager, did such an amazing job with this arrangement, and I could not be happier. About a week later, Lily's opening my apartment smells wonderful. I definitely recommend Gelson’s MDR to all of my friends on the west side they have the freshest flowers and produce. Say 👋 to Lori in the floral department on your way through.

The variety of foods is very good.
The employees always seem like they are unhappy with their jobs. For the amount of money Gelsons charges for food they should have a bagger and not have lines to check out

Lori at the flower department blowed me away today and created a master bouquet since the one I originally wanted was sold out. I payed $29.99 for a $100 💐 Wow! 🤩

The bakery makes the BEST blueberry pie! OMG. Just perfect. With plenty of fruit, not too sweet, crust doesn't get suggy. Tried many baked goods from here, never dissaponted. This is my favorite bakery.

Nice market. I love the setup inside they have a lot of stuff to sell. My favorite areas were the liquor and cheese sections plus employees are so nice... My only gripe was trying to find the market at 7 pm because it was down a flight of stairs that were dark. Very poor lighting, there doing some work in the front of the door so I was not sure if I was going to the correct place.

Such a disappointment when you are used to stores with a much bigger selection of organic / gluten free and local items. The staff is really nice and deserves five stars, but for selection I won't be back.
