I got the most gorgeous black handbag with fringe. The leather was super soft, the price was excellent and the service was wonderful.

I'm going to let you know exactly what happened when we visited the shop. We went there twice as I'm trying to find the perfect hat. I've been thinking about it for years and finally found the one in this shop.
A white hat I really like.
During the first visit, I tried the hat on and told the lady I was probably going to buy it, I just needed a little time to think about it. Her face when I said "we'll come back"... Very judgemental but I get it, a lot of people say that and never come back.
When we were there, the same lady was talking to a man (maybe the owner?) about how many hats they sold that day, counting every dollars they made. We were rather uncomfortable but anyway... business is business I guess.

We went back today, the white hat had to be mine 🙂 We got help from a very nice young woman (hopefully you'll read this message, thank you so much for your help today!). I told her I loved the white hat and asked if she could find other hats looking like this one. She did very quickly! 2 hats, one black, one brown....loved them both! But...the white was still the one.
Obviously, we knew buying a white hat would also mean having to deal with stains here and there. The hat wasn't clean and before buying it I asked if they could do something about it. The young lady tried to clean it but couldn't take the dust off.
I asked if they could do something about the price....what have I done! As soon as I said that, an older lady came telling the younger one (not talking to me at all) something to that extend : "we're not loosing one dollar because of this stain! It's going to get dirty anyway!!". As I hate it when people don't talk to me, I answered "I understand a white hat is going to get dirty, I just wanted to buy it clean...". The young woman looked so disappointed for me, again thank you for trying your best. The other ladies made us feel like they didn't want us here. We left without a hat. I'm kind of sad as I was going to buy it even without a discount.
Please try and be more considerate of your clients, locals or internationals. Your shop is beautiful but the older staff make it very hard to want to spend money here...

Absolutely LOVE this store. The most beautiful hand crafted leather and fur items around. I am always so impressed with all of the merchandise I have from hideout, I’ve had some pieces for 8 years and everything is lasting with great quality. I still get compliments on my boots and purses to this day. They also went above and beyond this year to help us get hand made leather bracelets made for our wedding party this year in my wedding. They turned out so good, thank you for everything!

We enjoyed our experience at the shop when we visited from out of state. I so enjoyed the special attention from the owners who gave us special words of wisdom to our young boys with us. It is special to met people who care and want to invest in people, not just rush people for the sale. Genuine people. Great product, too. I love my leather hide wristlet! Beautiful and just what I was looking for as a treasure from the vacation.

I purchased a belt in 2013 on a trip to Jackson Hole. I am still to this day wearing the same belt as I have everyday since then. It has held up great. I have now purchased a second one and once again have had a great experience with the store’s great help and customer service. Awesome handmade products for sale here. I highly recommend stopping here to anyone visiting Jackson.
