I’ve been a loyal fan of J-Beauty for over 10 years, and finding a reliable place to shop locally was always a challenge – until I discovered iMomoko!

They’re based in El Monte, CA, and not only do they offer a fantastic selection of Japanese beauty products at great prices, but their shipping is super fast compared to overseas retailers. If you’re local to Southern California, you’re in luck because they even allow pickups directly from their warehouse. As someone who lives nearby, this has been such a game-changer for me!

What sets them apart, though, is their customer service. When one of my packages was returned due to a shipping error, they quickly sent out a replacement with no hassle. Now, I simply coordinate to pick up my orders whenever I’m in the area, and it’s always been a smooth, stress-free experience.

The only tiny downside is that their website could use a little updating, but that doesn’t take away from how much I love shopping with them. I honestly get excited every time I place an order – it’s like treating myself to a little slice of Japan!

If you love Japanese beauty products and want fast, reliable service, iMomoko is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Update: iMomoko reached out to me over the phone after I posted this review, discussed my concerns, apologized and sent me the sample and an additional gift as an apology. With regards to their prompt customer service and quick shipping of the missing gift I am amending my review. As for the product itself the SKII Treatment Essence arrived quickly and in perfect condition with no bents or marks on the boxes. Customer service taking care of my concerns was much appreciated.

iMomoko is a very unprofessional and shady company who scams customers into advertising for them for free. I ordered over $200 of SKII skincare products because they advertised a 7 piece free gift of SKII travel samples with purchases of over $150 for a promotion. When my order arrived today there was no gift inside of the box, instead there was a postcard in Chinese which stated that in order to get the free gift, I will need to either 1. Post a video of me opening the box on Weibo (chinese social media) and tag them. 2. Post a picture of me unboxing it on WeChat (chinese facebook) and tag them and send them a screenshot. And even then I will only receive my free gift with my NEXT order. I double checked the website and there was no disclaimer saying additional steps was necessary to get what I ordered. I then chatted customer service who then pretended that the missing items was a mistake (It was not a mistake the postcard in chinese clearly says so.) Customer service asked me if they can ship with my next order, and I said no, and then they said they will ship it to me, but with no tracking. (I will update if it actually comes, if no update, it didn't come.)

This company is tricking its Chinese customers into advertising for free, and for everyone who can't read their postcard and advertise for them, they just won't get the bonus items that they spent extra money to qualify for.

I have also submitted the picture of their postcard in Chinese giving instructions to advertise to GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR, the promotion with no disclaimer, along with the packing list I received.

I would definitely never buy from them again.

Tried ordering from this website previously and got charged but order didnt go through. Thought it was my fault cause i thought i entered the wrong info but i was wrong. Tried again recently with a different email address but order did not go through and was charged. Made sure information was correct but still did not work properly. Last time I try ordering from this website. Major disappointment.

They got my address totally wrong and blame me for it. I asked them could they send me again asap and they refuse to. Said they need to wait the package returned to them and then send to me again, which would arrive much later than normal.
