The owner/ shopkeeper here is kind, and even though supplies have been slow to arrive this year, the shopping experience here is really good.
And, most of the items necessary for Indian cooking are available. The only items the store might be missing out on are Indian snacks.

Date: 8/27/2024 Time : 11:30 ish Tuesday Morning,
Owner or the worker greeted me as I entered. There were vegetables ( Red Onion) to be specific on the floor without the box, just lying. I mentioned to the owner, He said, his own words " Just buy stuff that's not on the floor" . He mentioned about remodeling etc. but that's just not sanitary and should be reported to the public health officials and city of boulder, just pure negligence. I get, its small mom/pop shop what not, but the concern is more serious about how the grocery esp. produce that's not packaged handled by the operators. Just a word of CAUTION !!! , I am very open to support and help small business but if you answer saying buy the stuff that is not on the floor. Plain n simple : No one should shop or give business to this Store or anyone who don't care about sanitation and public health.

I've always felt the owner puts a lot of love and care into what he does. He's an honest person who will always answer your cooking questions, provide the best ingredient reccomendations, and In general is very warm and cheery and always happy to see you. I would highly recommend this store over the other Indian grocery store in Boulder. A huge selection, more than fair prices, and fresh things you would not find in a normal grocery store which would be severely marked up anyway.

The owner is considerate, cares about providing quality items and consistently has a well maintained store. I will pick this Indian grocery store as a Boulder local every time, because of the owner and the quality ingredients I come home with, every visit. He is honest and prices items fair, but will also let you know if he doesn’t carry an item, and why he doesn’t. Highly recommend.

Neat store packed with bulk spices, legumes, treats and even tools. The price and quantity on unique spices blows big corporate grocery stores out of the water.

Been in the store a couple times now and every time I've had pleasant conversations with the clerk/owner regarding things from cooking to family.

This store is only a walk away for me and many others, and I can't wait to stock up from them again.

Reviewed Indian Bazaar 3 years ago and this is still the best Indian Grocery Store in Boulder County... and I tried them all! Very clean and the items are fresh and move frequently from the shelves. Also, all of their items are marked with prices... not like some other Indian grocers who don't price mark their items. I've been getting my spices and specialty items here for years. I am a foodie and cook Indian cuisine as well as other World cuisines. They have a variety of spices, herbs, flours, dals/lentils, beans, grains, rice, and much, much, more that can be used in any cuisine of the world... it's not just for Indian cooking. It's a lot less expensive to buy spices here than in the big box grocery stores. Muhammad is the owner and runs it with his family. He is very nice and always makes me feel welcomed when I'm shopping. I enjoy shopping here because of the great prices and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend the Indian Bazaar for all your spices and specialty needs!!! James DC
