Amazing truckstop! Better than the top 3 for sure! Autumn was very kind and helped me with everything I needed.... they have laundry,showers, GAMING MACHINES! a truckers lounge and came highly recommended by a lifelong trucker . Out of all the truckstops in the area this is the ONE! heading to or from Birmingham this is the place to stop THE FOOD IS GOOD TOO!... be sure to come in and see these ladies hands DOWN!!!!!

Look, I came I65 cause my drop location didn't have any empty until the next day and ended up going to the pilot for da nite.

bobtail out. But grab ribs from Jim'n Nicks bar-B-Q jus a few miles over. Mind you, this was Fri.

But baby, yyyyyyyyy come first light Sat...
I got my empty and didn't grab any loads.

Umm, figured it's easier to find a new spot

Google Maps said, "narr... I'm not feeling u! Figure your move solo-dolo, but my phone is a hater anyway, so

Again, I hit back route, not going I65

And found a Gem 💎 @ Jack's Truck stop

I decided I'd grab CB radio while I'm on dwn time, and gotn way more than I bargain

Staff here, customers here, location here, showers here, food here was sooooooooooo, fantastically pleasant, kind helpful, supportive, in one unification...

I've never known or had this kinda parking or overnight experience.

As professional drivers, we all know that it only takes one to mess-things-up...

Maybe that's why I've limited my review most of the time.

But credit is earned, and acknowledgment must be rendered.
The atmosphere was genuine.

Drivers even leave extra shower credit for other drivers or anyone

The young ladies at the store were some of the most fabulous ladies, and the young man who loaned me the tools also introduced me to another driver, Mr Eric.

And he hands down, set me right to get my CB working, and even though me to using it properly.

I tell you I slept like a baby, secure and well fed, around great people and clean location

PLEASE DNT YALL FUCK IT UP!!!

Just other drivers, and now just like me, we have left this Gem 💎 in mint condition, No Fly on your windows or urine under your pets feet... DNT YOU!!!

Please, dnt make US start keeping OUR hidden Gems 💎

The Breakfast Platter it's topnotch, served with scrambled eggs, cheese potatoes, bacon, and gravy biscuits. I saw them put the cheese on something, and noticed that it was "real" cheese, meaning that deluxe type. And, the bacon was about six slices, thin but cooked right. All for $7.99. Tables present, but no tip required, because you order at the register and sit yourself, and you throw your own trash away.

This place is clean and maintained. They have a big selection of things to buy. Lots of space around to walk dogs, if you need that sort of thing. Easy access and close to 65. I was really impressed, I just needed gas and a place to walk the dogs, away from a bunch of people. Even though it was busy, we had no problems at all.

This place is an awesome stop for the end of the day. The shower was nice and hot, food was fresh and good. I recommend if you are driving down I65 stop here.

Pro: 5 stars for saying "hello darlin'" as I walked in.
Pro: Clean and very large place.
Pro: Nice driver's lounge area.
Pro: Nice laundry facilities with reasonable prices.

Con: The laundry soap was WAY too expensive at $9.24 for a 25-oz container of liquid Gain but, I had no choice...needing it.

Pro: Let me heat up food from outside.
Pro: Wished me safe travels as I departed.
Pro: Nice parking

This is an older, AmBest, and an "underdog" competing with the Peelots, T/As and Love's so I'd like to try to keep them in business.

Oh, I just discovered an old Emeryville our next to the tire shop...check out the "spacious" sleeper it has; WOW!

Great things: clean, newer, safe area right off 65, nice people, good food and if you're there at the right time, you get a free shower because some truckers will donate theirs.

Not great things: towels are small and thin, provided soap not great and hot water disappeared for no reason. Other than those, it would be an easy 5
