Having had my hair done up and down the valley for decades I can truly say they accommodate everyone: kids, teenagers, seniors, ladies and gentlemen! I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new salon.  Julie was recommended to me by some friends so I decided to visit Jul Hair Salon for a hair color and cut and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results as it’s exactly what I wanted.

Julie, who cut and colored my hair, is extremely skilled and attentive.  Prior to coloring my hair, she took the time to discuss what I wanted and even made recommendations based on her knowledge and experience of what would work best with my skin tone.  She was patient and understanding, answering all of my questions and concerns.

She’s very meticulous, ensuring the color was evening distributed and blended seamlessly with my natural hair color.  As a result of my color and cut, my hair now looks so much healthier and I’ve already received a ton of compliments.

Overall, I would highly recommend Julie to anyone looking for top-notch hair color treatment.  She and her entire staff are knowledgeable, professional, skilled, and go above and beyond to ensure your expectations are exceeded.  I couldn’t be happier that I found someone in town who I can trust with my hair.

I found Julie (owner of Jul) 5 years ago and I’ve never needed to go anywhere else! She does a fantastic job with my hair (color, cut, styling) and I recommend her to all my friends. I’ve loved watching her grow the salon over the last few years and mentor all the new girls, who are also doing beautiful work. 👏🏼 Highly recommend.

I really wanted to like this place, I gave them a fair chance with all of the mixed reviews on here. As soon as I walked in, there was a super unprofessional atmosphere about everything. The owner seemed nice but Jul who did my eyebrows seemed very rushed and said she needed to leave right away, when I had actually arrived to my appointment 10 minutes early. They don’t provide great service. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Went in for a bleach and color. Owner missed some noticeable bits of the hair around my temples when she bleached and colored. Now I have a mix of colorful, natural, and bleached hair around my temples, which both my husband and friend had a good chuckle about. It’s kind of a shame because she charged me double what another lady the town over offered me and didn’t even do a good job. I only went to Jul because of scheduling ease. I’m hopeful that I can’t find somebody else to fix the missed pieces, because I look pretty silly. As far as the woman who did my hair, she was nice, but spent a lot of time stopping what she was doing to yell at her son to come get their dog when the dog escaped from the back room and jumped all over me and the other clients in the building. This happened seven times while I was there. I loved it, because I love dogs, but a customer who is afraid of dogs probably wouldn’t feel the same way.

Very rude and unprofessional. Curt, abrasive and not friendly. Not accommodating or customer service based. Very dissatisfied with my cut and highlight. Very sad.

Julie is by far the best hair colorist and stylist in the valley! My hair is so healthy and still very blonde. She is also the only one my kids like going too. Couldn’t recommend her more!!!!

I do not recommend this salon. The owner Julie is rude and very obnoxious. They do not greet you politely or thank you for your business. They treat you like you are bothering them. They aren’t Fabulous hairdressers either Not going back, I’m used to being treated well and leaving a salon feeling beautiful, not a good experience at JUL.
