Highly recommended health/beauty shop if you are ever in the Russian River area. I found this magnificent shop for the purpose of getting waxing services done. I liked the wax Heidi used opposed of some places where the wax is scolding hot and is a bit unpleasant. No burn around the eyebrows and underarms. This matters since nothing worse than burnt waxed skin in the sun. The next day, Heidi accommodated me by showing up early to give me a facial, which was one of the best I’ve had, total bliss and my skin feels absolutely divine. She took her time and was very detailed. I’m from the East Coast and if I’m ever out this way, I will be definitely be returning. Thanks Heidi.

In town for a small family wedding and booked a much needed facial. Wow! Can I just tell you that Heidi (owner) was FABULOUS? As an experienced Esthetician, she immediately identified the specific needs for my neglected skin and brows. I was beyond pleased with the results. Thank you, Heidi, and sidekick Suzanne. This is The Best Place for facials, eyebrows and recently I got eyelash extensions, amazing amazing results. Heidi did it for me.
I got facial done too by her few months back and results were beyond my expectations. I would definitely recommend This Place to make it as ur final destination for any skin n body grooming.

Heidi is amazing! My lashes have been tricky and I’m super picky about the way they look. She has worked with me and gone above and beyond to get them just right and does an amazing job! She’s professional, knowledgeable and everything is so clean and tidy and very welcoming! She knows what she’s doing and does a great job at personalizing exactly what you need and want!!

Heidi, the talented and kind owner of Junebug is simply a gem. Over the last year I have had Heidi and the Junebug team support me in a range of wellness and beauty treatments - facials? Fab. Make-up? Make me feel pretty! Body sculpting? I’m down pounds and clothing that was tight 3 months ago now glides on. I have had treatments from LA to London. Junebug provides that level of service in the tiny town of Guerneville.

I went to Heidi at June Bug Skin & Body to take a Brazilian and speed waxing class. She was extremely knowledgeable and kind. Her presence makes you feel at ease almost immediately. I get a lot of anxiety during these classes in most cases, but felt completely comfortable with Heidi. She checked in to see how comfortable I was with waxing and how experienced I was. She then reviewed a lot of knowledge with me before moving into techniques. She had a great way of keeping me on track when I got distracted. She also was great at correcting my technique when needed, without making me feel like I was messing up. She was very encouraging, as well, and made sure to let me know when I was doing well, not just my mistakes. She has so much knowledge, is extremely personable and friendly and an all around great person to learn from. I am so happy I chose Heidi to take a wax class from. She is truly one of a kind and taught me SO MUCH, and helped with my confidence. I 100% recommend her to any esthetician looking to improve their waxing skills.

Having a treatment at this salon is a MUST when in town. Heidi is amazing and every treatment I got surpassed my expectations. She takes her time to really take good care of you and to ensure you are delighted. My only regret was I did not find them earlier in my trip. I would have visited them every week! Thanks Heidi!

I feel so grateful to have a space in Guerneville where I can treat myself to top notch self-care. Heidi is amazing at waxing (Brazilian, eyebrows, armpits) and is friendly and community oriented.

I treated myself to my first ever facial with Suzanna and loved how my face felt during and after. She even added in some shoulder and head massage, which was a nice treat.

June Bug also sells high quality skin products and have been enjoying my new face cleanser, exfoliator, and SPF lip stick.
