I never understood the value of Kipling products until I became a mother in 2015. Their bags (with lots of pockets and compartments) are the most durable, useful and convenient for parents who have to carry so much for their little kids. So this review should have started with 4 stars (1 star is off due to lack of very appealing designs to my liking).

So I was more than excited to order a few more on their website recently since we are returning to school and office again.

UNFORTUNATELY, their return process in-store was only subpar. I was absolutely baffled by their "unconventional" behaviors towards my return request around 6pm in March 2022, which was not dissimilar to the negative review posted here a few year ago.

First, I was told that I could only return my online purchase before 4pm on a business day. That is definitely an unusual practice in the US, nor it is published conspicuously online or in-store (3-stars off for such poor return policy). Then, I had to patiently "beg" the sales rep to take my item back and I would get another replacement in-store. I said I drove a long way to the store and it was not possible for me to make a return before 4pm during my regular work hours. She didn't look very happy but she went on to call her manager in the back room. She came back 5 minutes later, pushing away all the items I was browsing for purchase at the checkout desk without asking; and then she grumbly warned me that she would do me a BIG FAVOR by allowing this return one time only (1-star is added back for this BIG FAVOR). Like the previous reviewer said, they took a very long time to verify on my receipt (which came with the shipment) as if it was a fake/fraud. I was taken by such arrogance. Wasn't I a paying customer? I had reviewed their return policy beforehand and I did everything right to justify a legitimate return. Why did it sound like it was my fault to return a brand new merchandize within the return period?

I was frustrated too at the end of this 20-minutes return process. But I bit the bullet and thank her for her KINDNESS, telling her that I didn't mean to upset her in any way. I even wished her a happy weekend.

This is one of the worst return experiences I have ever encountered in the US. No way this situation will happen in Macy's, Costco, Gap, Loft or any other retailers. No matter how much I like a Kipling product, I will now think twice before I place any order online if they don't fix this return process.

I don't usually leave a long review online. But I care enough about this company to publicize my feedback here. I hope they will do better in the future.

P/s: Online store is better stocked than this physical store.

Tried to return a bag to the store on Saturday morning and was told Customer Service is only available on Monday to Friday from 11am to 4pm. So, I will have to leave work early on a weekday to go back to the store to complete the return. Very unhappy about this!

The worst return experience at this location, the staffs here doesn't know how to do the return procedure correctly for my online order return to the store.
I came to the store seeking for a return, it was a nightmare! The first staff held me by the register for 5 mins, asking for my phone number, and checking out the return items. Then she couldnt figure it out, another staff kicked in for the returns, it took more than 15mins.. like 20mins in total.. they need to verify the pricing, even I showed them the order through my phone, but they still don't trust it and take up 5 mins calls to their direct line for pricing verification, after that, they took another 5 to 10mins to adjust the total price that came out completely off. At the end, they were still short refunded me by a penny. I dont understand how complicated can it be to return two items, well avoid buying this kind of brand online or in store. Bad quality and bad service! ( I went there a day before and got rejected due to my credit card not with me at the time, so I went back).

One and half year ago, the old Indian female manager at this location was dishonest and unprofessional about her job. She stole my Kipling gift card even when I told her to cancel my order at the check out and left the store with nothing. When I got home, I was shocked that the gift card which I showed her before in the store has zero balance left. Of course I reported it to the company and not sure if company did anything about her.

Great prices and helpful staff. You can find some bags here as you would at retail stores. I came here during the Thanksgiving sales and was able to get two bags that I love. Recommend coming here first before going anywhere else.

The store is kind of small but the sales are pretty good. During COVID there normally isn't too many staff working there in the desk.
