The food was not the problem.*****

We were so excited to finally get the chance to try LAX Grille. We decided to check it out in celebration of my recent birthday. As soon as we walked in I noticed the lack of accessible seating for anyone who is disabled and who is of a bigger size. We ended up finding a tabletop with a sofa that seemed comfortable and accommodating, but as soon as my partner sat next to me, the sofa broke. The waitress said nothing and we decided maybe it had already been weakened by others, so we moved over to the next sofa and tabletop. As soon as we received our appetizers the second sofa broke as well and again, the waitress said nothing. She did not apologize or offer another table, so we continued to sit on the broken furniture.

The food was otherwise amazing. My partner ordered the pho which the broth was filled with so much flavor. I had the red curry, but I definitely could have had it with more spice, less bamboo shoots, and more vegetable variety? Maybe one small disappointment was that there were no tapioca pearls for the bobas.

And the place was rather beautifully set up. Very open. Very green including growing their own herbs in the window. We loved that.

This place is just not as accessible as it could and should be. And it’s unfortunate because everything else was amazing.

Had a fantastic lunch at LAX Grille today! This cozy spot in downtown La Crosse is a refreshing change from the usual burger and pizza joints.
I ordered the Egg rolls along with Pad Thai noodles - both were perfectly done. To top it off, the chef personally bought me a Crab Rangoon to try, which was not only delicious but also such a thoughtful gesture.
Great food, warm hospitality and a convenient location - I'll definitely be back !

This is a cool looking restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. I have been meaning to go there for a while and I tried the stir fry ginger chicken and Order of crab rangoon and both were phenomenal. The owner was really nice as well

New go to place, hands down. My wife and I love Asian cuisine of all types but have not yet found a good reliable place for dine in and take out, until now. Picked some food up as takeout after a shift at the hospital, brought it home for the family. I haven’t had Thai food this good since we’ve went to Thailand last year. The pad Thai was amazing and my wife’s red curry was equally good. Will be going back again very soon. 5 stars. Staff was very friendly and atmosphere was nice, casual, comfortable.

Absolutely 100% the best stir fry I’ve ever had! I got the cashew chicken and it was beyond flavorful! The restaurant was also able to accommodate my friend’s vegan order which was wonderful. I highly recommend Lax Grille and ask for Joy to be your server. She was knowledgeable, kind, and attentive! Will definitely be back soon!

I came downtown with a taste for Sushi and happened upon this great spot. LIV gave great service. My appetizers (vegan egg rolls) came quick and hot. Try the Vita H2O if you make it in...a very refreshing cocktail. Excellent Pad Thai. I'll definitely be back with a friend.

The restaurant did not smell good. We didn't get any silverware or napkin with our food. Our servers was friendly and got us some after we asked for it. The raman broth was good, but the noodles were cooked from skinny dry noodles and not traditional Japanese raman noodles.
