RUN-so unprofessional and very average. I had Maddie as a colorist. It took her months to get my color done correctly. Not sure why this was. Several try’s and one major correction.Very average outcome. Maddie’s haircuts were very average and unimaginative as well. The management is nonexistent. They don’t answer the phone! You have to leave a message and/or send a text for scheduling. You are not permitted to speak to your hairstylist directly! Because of this, you may not get the time you need for color, etc., which was very frustrating. I recently just left and went to L Salon in San Mateo. Gabby was fantastic! I got exactly what I wanted in one go. Prices are comparable. Don’t waste your time and money at Le Reve.

Wow! I feel like a new woman! Yet another awesome haircut at Le Reve Salon. This was my first haircut during quarantine and I had a great experience! Not only is the staff always super friendly, but they are also following COVID-19 guidelines - upon arrival, I filled out a safety form outside and my temperature was kindly checked by the receptionist before stepping in. Everyone inside was properly wearing a mask.

My stylist was Aimie today, who gave me an amazing (or should I say Amie-zing, long layered cut! Everything was perfect from the hairwash, to the cut and styling! I can tell she really cares about her clients and that she genuinely loves what she does - and she's so good at it too! Her attentiveness does not go unnoticed! My mask was not fitting my face properly today so Aimie even gave me a new surgical mask so I didn't have to keep finicking with it!

I've included photos of my new lovely (and beautifully styled cut). I had never curled my hair before, and I'm really feeling this curled look now 🙂

I've always had a great experience at Le Reve and I'll definitely be back. Thanks for the constant A+ service and beautiful cuts!

I went to La Reve for the first time today, and really enjoyed my experience. I got a trim and layers from Maddie. She communicated well and listened to my needs. She really took her time and did a wonderful job on my haircut! The salon has a nice atmosphere and parking was easy on California Ave. Really good price for the quality of service as well. I’ll definitely be back!

I came here for a haircut with a new stylist at this salon -- Maddie. She is fantastic! She took the time to review my ideas for a new haircut. She took the time to work on the length, and the layers in a gradual manner. And she left my hair looking like new. I couldn't thank her enough!

I look forward to coming back to her for more haircuts.

I've been seeing Jessi for two years and she's awesome! She understands how to cut my Asian hair and also does a dynamite job with coloring. She did a beautiful magenta and purple color treatment and cut for me. You'll pay $120+ and tip--you'll be happy with the results. Jessi is also super sweet and personable, I feel like I'm sitting and gossiping with a friend who's looking out for the best look for me.

Rhea and Julie are the best, as are the ladies who work for them. As a guy, I always feel like I'm taken seriously even though they make a lot less on my simple hair cut than on the more extensive work they do with women's hair. Give these girls your business. They do a great job.

I just recently went in for my first appointment with Berry, who is currently an apprentice/assistant at the salon. I am very much content with her and the surrounding environment! Berry is so sweet and won’t let you down! I am looking forward to my next appointment.

My wife is particular about her hair. Wait, let me make sure that I stress PARTICULAR.

She told me early on that she would never switch from her hairdresser that had been working on her hair since high school. And to his credit, did a pretty damn good job. But my wife finally after years of talking up my hairdresser (Julie) finally caved and gave her a shot.

Nearly three years later, Julie has now become her main gal. She and Julie are now like *this* and I may be a little bias, but her hair has never looked better. A few Yelpers out there that have met her can back me on this.

If you are reading this, you may be in the market for a new hair person and I am here to tell you that Julie is worth checking out. She will work magic, I promise you!
