If you have seen my posts on Loma Linda I have all praise for Dr.s here! They literally saved my husband's life! And the employees have been trained to be the best of the best! This post, however, is about front row parking! There are 3 dedicated parking spots to the right when you pull in to the valet/ emergency! When you are in front of the hospital, veer to the right you'll see a tiny parking area w sign in front of 3 of 6 spots, "Cancer Institute patient parking only"! Best wishes to you & yours!

My mother is an active cancer patient here. Today she was very sick having withdrawals, the ambulance had to bring her in the emergency. She arrived here at 1pm, it is now 1am. No doctors have came in to help her, speak with her about anything. Only a nurse has came by for “pain management “. We’re still sitting here in the emergency department back room. Where are all the doctors on a Monday?

I've been coming here since August 2023 my experience so far has been, the front office receptionist is very friendly and nice. The nurses are one of the rudest I have ever experienced. From talking to them on the phone or in person they are not friendly and empathetic for working in the cancer department.

Loma Linda University Cancer Center is an extraordinary facility. My father was treated with proton therapy for his prostate cancer back in 2000. He is doing very well more than 20 years later, and still remembers his incredible experience of treatment. The staff was professional, attentive, and kind. He also genuinely appreciated their "Make Man Whole Mission." As a Seventh-Day Adventist Institution, LLUCC treats the WHOLE person - body, mind and spirit. Both my parents (my father, the patient, and my mother as his partner) had life-changing experiences at Loma Linda which remain with them today.

Floor 6,,,,The Registered Nurses up there on that floor are terrible,,,They are so disrespectful. They talk back to you Like a four-year-old.They over medicate you. I could only spend 2 days in there. This was my second time there,,, My Mom doesn't like the place Cuz I was complaining about them so much it got on her nerves. They mocked me But then pretended to care about & Because I wanted to go home and I did go home. I had to tell on a nurse name Ariana, I had to tell on a nurse named Michelle, She told me No in the nastiest way & when the charge nurse asked her Did she say No, She made up a lie. Furthermore she said she was having a bad day at 9a.m..You have to fake it to make it...so you won't get sued personal..I was a CNA....Your not suppose to bring problems to work. There short staffed....excuses excuses,,, If you don't like your Job ,,,Quit...don't make patients feel your evil...

The cancer center is great. The medical staff is kind, caring and professional. I'm only giving one star bcz the volunteer Lorna Marnes is rude. She passed snacks to everyone except me and my mother in law when she started having a 30 minute conversation with another patient. She was sitting down showing pictures to the other patient when i walked up and asked if i could get a snack for my mother in law. She said no and i had to wait a couple minutes. I sat back down and waited but when she got up, she turned the cart around and asked patients across from us if they wanted snacks. They asked her to offer my mother in law a snack first and she said no, they can wait. I was irritated with her at this point so i stood up and got a snack. She snatched it from my hand and said i still had to wait. Then the volunteer left to get her supervisor (Maria) and made it seem like she was innocent and i was the rude one. Just bcz she's a volunteer doesn't mean she gets to treat others disrespectfully.

Number one thing is that they are thorough at what they do! They found it they test, test, test, and do more testing. Guess it's a good thing they're taking my life as serious as I do. Theyre continuously helpful and there when i want them to be. They're compassionate, their understanding, and they work with YOU as an INDIVIDUAL. NOT as a GROUP of CANCER PATIENTS. They tried to accommodate my every need... to the point where I don't feel like I have to fix in f
or on cancers schedule... but cancer treatment is going to fit into my schedule. They've given me time to go back to them and say I'm ready for more.. they explain to you the importance of starting your treatment they set a goal and they do all they can to achieve that goal . They Protect your privacy, safety, & are health. God bless .

Not happy with the service from the start, they do not communicate at all!
Not caring for your needs and your schedule. Horrible service for cancer patients anywhere. Took forever to set up my treatments, and when they did they never communicated with me or my husband. Meet with my primary Radiation oncologist only 1 time she never meet with me again and its been 4 months.
I went to USC to do my chemo treatments and they are the best, I rather drive 2 hours from Lake Arrowhead to LA to be treated with compassion and respect then ever go to Loma Linda Cancer Center, but I am still working and they are only 15 min away so I figured why not go to them, BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!!!!

Unfortunately I did try to go to a different location but I was already half way through my treatment so I feel forced to just get it over with already. This has been the worst experience I have to deal with since my chemo and that was not even half bad other than me losing my hair. Loma Linda Cancer Center Dr's act like your on their time and if you don't do what they ask of you then ooh well you have cancer so deal with it!

TO ALL CANCER PATIENTS -
PLEASE GO TO CITY OF HOPE, USC OR ANYWHERE ELSE I WOULD HATE FOR ANOTHER CANCER PATIENT TO DEAL WITH THIS TYPE OF TREATMENT.
