We love this specific location! Most importantly we love Camilla M. She’s extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and is just a beautiful human being! Camilla has a wonderful energy and explains everything about the products. From ingredients to how to use them! Camila is professional and gives amazing recommendations! My daughter loved her session as did I. Look forward to always making a stop at Mac and seeing Camilla.

I’ve been wanting a better makeup line than the drug store brands I’ve always used and have heard so many good things about Mac cosmetics that I finally took the plunge. The Mac counter is upstairs in Dillard’s at Chapel Hills Mall. I was waited on by Briana. We talked about my skin type and then she chose the appropriate foundation. She matched my color for me and even applied my makeup before I left. I left with foundation that is perfect for my skin, a primer/setting spray and several samples of other products to try out at home. Excellent experience! I will be coming back for more.

I would be remiss if I did not give a “Shout Out” to one of your associates that is a “True Gift” to the MAC Brand!!

I was walking through Dillard’s the other day and decided to just stop by the counter to look at some product.

There were two consultants there at the time. I continued to peruse just to see if they would say anything like, “ Hi” or “We are with this customer and we will be right with you.” I got nothing…. CRICKETS, not even a head nod. To my surprise, as this has not happened so blatantly to me before, I started to leave until I walked around the other side heading out the door.

I was so angry as I was leaving and this kind voice asked me, “Is there anything I can help you with today.” I was so full of anger, hurt and feeling disrespected that I said to her, “It doesn’t look like anyone cares around here.” Then she said, “Well, I just did and I would Love to help you.”

I stopped in my tracks. Her words made me realize I was misdirecting my Anger onto her.

The young lady I’m talking about is Michelle Williams, Brand Leader at the Chapel Hills Mall,
1790 Briargate Blvd., C.S., CO 80920.

Not only did she find the perfect lipstick I was looking for but to my surprise, she had given me a complete makeover. While doing my make up, she told me what her plan was in the Dillard’s Family. She wanted to one day be in Higher Management or a Brand Ambassador. I told her I am going to wait to see her applying makeup to celebrities. An hour later, she had turned Lemons into Lemonade.

Michelle has such an infectious loving spirit, kind to everyone that visited the counter, even while working with me. She has a True gift of patience and Knowledge of the MAC Brand!!!

Very seldom do I write compliments but if I didn’t write this one… it would be sinful not to give recognition to such a lovely, confident woman.

Please recognize her for all the Good she’s is doing behind the MAC counter. I’m quite sure I’m not the only one. I know time is precious and all of us are in such a hurry these days but I believe she deserves the recognition.

Ohhh, and I walked out with almost $200.00 worth of product!!!! She’s good!!!

Long review: I scheduled an appointment to get my makeup done for a holiday party. I was excited because I’ve never had my makeup done professionally before. It’s not my intention to put any artist on blast because I’m sure she did her best and I support that. However, the outcome I received was not what I had hoped for. I kept telling myself, “this is different” as I’m not used to seeing myself with bold colors and I felt optimistic that she knew what she was doing and it would all come together for that anticipated dramatic reveal when she was finished. A handful of associates stopped by while she was doing my eye makeup and made remarks like, “where are you going looking like THAT” and then later as I was checking out another associate observed my makeup and said, “girl, that looks like my Walmart make up” - I immediately went to the nearest restroom to see what it looked like away from the makeup counter lighting and was disappointed to see the outcome. I really wanted to like the look but it just wasn’t what I was expecting. I walked out of the store feeling a little embarrassed. In all seriousness, I had to go back home and completely remove all of the makeup and start over. I was an hour and a half late to my work party (I ended up only being able to attend the last hour of the event) so it put a damper on my night. I was so bummed I genuinely considered not even going to my holiday party at all because of the time setback. I know, I sound dramatic. I was really looking forward to treating myself to a nice makeup look for a special event. The theme of the party was The Roaring 20s and I was going for a teal eyeshadow with a vintage red lip to go with my sequin dress. I uploaded a photo for reference. I honestly don’t think I’ll return to this location solely because of the snide remarks from the associates and because I genuinely feel like the experience was unprofessional. Maybe it was my mistake assuming the associates were experienced? I made sure to check out other photo reviews at least. I gave the artist a tip for her time.

Let me first begin by saying that I wasn't sure what kind of help, if any, I'd receive when I walked in because of the restrictions we've been under recently. But I was most pleasantly surprised by how welcoming and personable Joshua was considering there was no physical contact allowed. He was still able to assist me as best as he could with finding my shade in the foundation I went in looking for and also took the time to talk me through some other products I had questions about. I appreciate his willingness to discuss all things beauty and not just make-up. I will definitely go back when I'm ready to dive back in to full glam! Thanks for your help Joshua 🙂

Today is my best friends wedding. I called a while back and made appt.s for us to have our make up done at MAC and when we got there the consultant was rude and said it’s just me let me check and our policy has changed we aren’t able to do full face, I said well that would have been nice to know upon scheduling the appointment! She walked away came back and said she could do one of us and the other could go elsewhere. I said no I’ll wait because we have appointments with MAC not elsewhere. She was slamming things around and was a treat let’s just say. I am very disappointed if she doesn’t like her job maybe it’s time to find a new one. Customer service is so extinct now days it’s beyond sad. She hasn’t smiled or been nice once since we got here so if it doesn’t get better she will bring the Maid of Honor Zilla out. This is the brides special day make her feel special it costs you nothing to be nice!!!!

Josh was awesome in helping me pick out some makeup for my wedding. He was really helpful, explained how to use each product, and was really easy to talk to (not condescending like some others I've encountered other places). He also color matched me perfectly.

i’ve always wanted to purchase mac products but never have because each time i went in, the employees either completely ignored me or were very rude when i did ask for help. that was not the case at this location. the two girls that helped me were so sweet and professional. they were fun to talk to and made the entire shopping experience so pleasant and even did my makeup for me just because! when i got to the counter to pay, i realized that since this counter is in a dillard’s, they don’t accept mac gift cards, which i was planning on paying with. but due to the incredible customer service, i didn’t even mind paying with my own money. i will only be coming to shop here from now on for my mac products! <3
