I’ve been shopping at this store since it opened. After what happened today, I will never set foot in there again.

Today, I came by to buy a small bolt for my wife’s bike. I parked directly in front of the main entrance.
When I came out, the manager told me I couldn’t leave until the police arrived.
Parked next to me was a very nice lady in a new, blue Honda with a dent in the door. The manager accused me of hitting her car and trying to leave the scene. He repeatedly called me a liar and was extremely rude. There were some WHITE paint scrapes on the front of my car that didn’t come close to lining up to her car (let alone the color mismatch).
If I’d have hit her car I would have felt something, I would’ve heard something, there would be some real indicator of paint transfer or corresponding damage. AND I’m not some dirtbag that would have strolled in and done my shopping like nothing ever happened.

But Prince Charming wasn’t having it.

This all could’ve been easily resolved if they had camera footage of the parking area but he said the cameras were off to the sides. How do you not have a camera directly in front of your main door?

Regardless, the police officer that came did a thorough investigation, agreed there was no way I could have hit her car, and thanked me for my time and cooperation.

I’ve never been treated so rudely at a store in my life. It’s a shame because it’s very conveniently located to my house and I had been a frequent customer.

At the ace here in federal heights I brought in a project that I had several questions on how to complete it. Virginia was the sales lady that assisted me and she was outstanding. She walked me through the store showing me different ways I could tackle the project. I think because of her customer skill set she would one day, hopefully soon, she would be a manager so she could set example on what great customer service looks like. She is amazing.

Got a new snow shovel without a metal blade on the front as I prefer the thick plastic one has a nice gradient as well as folds in half. It's super convenient and work ready.

In there this morning to buy a tool woman at register yells! hello? Then another employee with alcohol on his breath follows me like I’m gonna steal something used to be a good place. I’ll never go back.

The lady in the cashier was fantastic. She helped me with everything that I was looking for, helped me with using the coupon, and overall it was just a joy to buy from this store thanks to her knowledge and kindness.

Always a positive experience when shopping at Mile High Ace Hardware and Garden. Expect a warm welcome as you walk in and help in every department. They have a bit of everything, and are consistently changing out stock to meet the incoming seasons. Crazy to think... but I believe they are best known for their barbecue selection, they have EVERYTHING you can think of-whether your a Traeger, Weber or Big Green Egg fan. Their spice rack is endless, aa their support for Colorado based businesses. Last but not least, they offer a discount to veterans, and I really appreciate that!
