This month I went in to browse new plants and buy a bag of soil.
I was surprised by the markup in prices! The 6 packs were easily 30 percent higher than last season. The G&B soil was nearly doubled in price! I bought a bag of soil for over 19 bucks.

Next day I went to Pierson's Garden Center and what do you know? Their G&B soil was its usual price of 10.99 a bag! Their 6 packs were the same price as last year too.

This really made me angry at Miller's for price gouging. I have been a Miller Farms customer for over 20 years. Not any more! And I'm telling all my gardener friends about it too.

I bought a brand new chainsaw and the guys there helped me out with everything. Had normal chainsaw issues and the guys there have been super helpful and are super knowledgeable. Some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. Definitely recommend.

Mary has left and while the other people in the nursery make an effort they don't have Mary's plant knowledge. They are going through a transition and tell us it will be better. But they are reducing their inventory and carrying fewer choices of product. We will see. Meanwhile I'm going elsewhere.

10% for senior during the week is awesome.
Great staff and inventory.
If you're looking for battery powered electric mowers, chainsaws and weedwackers, forget about it. They only carry gas powered. Very odd in this day and age.

I stopped by the powershop last weekend and had a great customer service experience. The place was very busy and despite having a line and the phone constantly ringing, the gentleman at the counter was very attentive. He helped me ID the mower I had and took the time to hunt down a few missing nuts and a gasket I needed. Great service even for a $2.50 sale. Thank you for being there and maintaining your attention to service during these times of quarantine.

They nearly always have the most random plants I want and a great selection of new things I didn't know I needed. I usually have good uck with purchases from Miller Farms and many clearance plants I picked up on a whim ended up thriving and look great!
