Lisa gave me the absolute best manicure of my life today. There's not a single bubble or ridge or sharp edge on my nails, everything is perfect. Her attention to detail was amazing, and she gave me exactly what I asked for. It took less than an hour to remove a poorly done builder gel manicure from another salon, and fix it plus add a fun design.

Plus it was $45. I was so happy I gave her a 50% tip, and I'll keep coming back to Mimosa to get my nails done going forward! After several bad experiences at other nail places in the area, I'm thrilled to have found Lisa and this salon!

My daughter and I got Halloween nails today. The service was impeccable. They listened and gave us exactly what we asked for with a little bit of flare! Toes not shown since they were pretty basic but, wow! Head here for your next nail appointment!

*UPDATE* I went back to get them fixed, and they look much much better. The last 4 pictures are the nails after having been redone. They weren’t fully taken off and redone but I suspect they would have been if I had asked for a different color, which personally I am fine with. They were very nice, just as they were the first time around. She told me that since I have deep cuticles it is more difficult to keep the dip powder clean and what not. Which totally may be the case, however they did a great job this time and it’s never been a problem previously. All in all I’m happy with them, and i just wish they had taken the care to do them like this the first time around.

I want to preface with my hands are clean. There is no dirt on my hands, it’s all dip powder that’s been glued or trapped on my finger with some other dip liquid. If you look closely you will see glue and top coat dried on my fingers, dip powder literally everywhere, and all kinds of build up underneath my nail. The nail shapes themselves are lumpy and inconsistent. The girl I had went very quickly and did a super sloppy job. She was also talking on the phone and texting multiple times at the beginning. Which i wouldn’t care if my nails came out good, but they didn’t. I paid $55 plus a $10 tip because I always feel bad not leaving a tip, you never know what the situation is, and I’ve worked on tips before.

Also the place is not clean. Someone else posted a review that the towels weren’t clean and the tools were messy, which was absolutely accurate. I’m not saying the tools hadn’t been disinfected because i really don’t know. But they were definitely messy looking. The girl also wiped her nose on her arm a couple times which i was kind of shocked by lol. I see that they have a 7 day warranty so I will go back next weekend and try and get them fixed. I’ll post my update then.

Whether it's requesting a very specific design or style or painting galaxies on my very active daughter's tiny nails, the team at Mimosa always exceed our expectations ❤️
