Steer clear of this scam of a business owner. If you value your own time, don’t waste it here. As you can see from reviews of this business on literally every platform, she does not take appointments seriously. I have had 3 massages with her and throughout those processes have been cancelled/rescheduled 14 times. Most of those cancellations happened day of the appointment, and I should have given up on this disgrace of a business long ago. Granted when she actually upheld my appointment, she is a fine masseuse, but the amount of run-around is definitely not worth the time. Catrina is completely disrespectful to her client's time and I highly recommend anyone who actually wants a massage avoids her and her business Mindful Healing. The many reviews on BBB, Yelp, Google, Groupon, etc. can show you this is a long-standing and reoccurring problem, and I hope you see her previous combative responses on these platforms as even more red flags. Please don’t waste your time and money here.

I sure wish I would have read the reviews for this Catrina prior to booking and buying a package! Catrina is a good massage therapist - not the greatest; I have had better. She doesn't take her appointments seriously! The very first appt I booked she cancelled with less than a 4 hour notice due to a "conflict". The 2nd appt she cancelled with less than a 4 hour notice due to a "cough" and the 3rd and last time I allowed her to treat me like someone that doesn't matter to her she cancelled with an excuse of "something pop up this morning" DO NOT book an appt here it is almost a guarantee you will have it cancelled on you. She can try and say this doesn't happen but when you dispute your credit card purchase of the package bought and provide text messages of all the cancellations and win the dispute - she can NOT dispute the truth!!

READ THE REVIEWS!!! have to agree with every other 1 star rating about cancellation.... I unfortunately am one of the people that received the groupon as a gift and looked forward to my massage. I booked this massage almost 3 weeks ago, had to confirm my appointment 3 separate times only to receive an email and text 2.5 hours before my massage that there was a "conflict in the schedule" and that my massage was cancelled and to send my availability to try to get back on the schedule. Based on the other reviews, it seems that maybe she needs a better way of keeping track of her schedule!! It's interesting that the client gets charged if they cancel less than 24hrs ahead but she seems to cancel hours before. I definitely won't be wasting my time trying to reschedule and potentially get cancelled again. I will take my small business support somewhere that wants it!

Very dreadful experience with this business. I bought a Groupon coupon for a massage but never got the service because Catrina cancelled on me four consecutive times. Each time I was made to book a new appointment and the rescheduled appointment was cancelled on the day of my massage.

In fact, on one of those cancelled rescheduled date Catrina reached out to me with the excuse that her child was sick, hence the need to cancel and reschedule. While I was aware that she had advertised three other staff members of hers on her Groupon page and found it odd that she'd be cancelling an appointment that any one of those staff could have handled, I was nevertheless empathetic to her situation. I had no cause to doubt her story and rescheduled my appointment. On that occasion, she personally picked a date that was convenient to her. Catrina cancelled on that agreement the next day!

I had to book a third appointment after this. A day before the appointment, like the previous two, I recieved a text and an email both on the same subject, first reminding me of my upcoming appointment and the next asking me to confirm my arrival. The next day I got another text effusing about my coming appointment. Hours later, the appointment was cancelled with no further explanation. The sequence of communication leading into the cancellation was identical.

Over the course of my communication with Catrina, I came to understand that this business had not the aptitude to fulfill the service advertised nor the integrity of honoring an appointment. I had had enough of the rigmarole and effectively reached out to Groupon to report this breach. I will not recommend this establishment to anybody.

Unfortunately I am unable to rate the actual massage itself as I never got one. I scheduled my massage for the first time at the beginning of Oct. It was cancelled the morning of at 4am. Things happen, I get it. No big deal. Reschedule for a few weeks later. Once again, it was cancelled at 4am. By this point, my schedule is getting busier and it is getting harder to schedule appointments. I schedule again for this past Saturday. Cancelled at 4am, she offers to reschedule for the next day. Great. The next day she cancels at 10am for my 4pm massage. So by now I have been cancelled on same day 4 times. My doctor recommended I get monthly massages. That is not something I can do when my massages are always cancelled. So unfortunately, I am going to have to find someone else to try, which is disappointing because those who actually get massages here seem to really enjoy them.

CANCELS ON YOU OVER AND OVER HOURS PRIOR TO APPT!!! Purchased a Groupon 90 min massage on 7/23 from this "massage therapist" Made an appt for 8/11 @12:00. On 8/11 @ 6:54 AM I received a cancellation email with Catrina stating "she was not feeling well and could I reschedule" I said OK and rescheduled for 8/21 @ 11AM. I received a cancellation email on 8/21 @ 7:57 AM from Catrina stating this time she "had a conflict i her schedule" and could I come in on her day off (Sunday) which I could not do. I rescheduled yet AGAIN for 9/3 at 12:30PM This time I had to reschedule (well within the 24 hr time frame) due to a death in my family. I kept trying to reschedule, it would accept then cancel. After about 3 times I received an email from Catrina stating "We are not going t make a good match, please seek a refund from Groupon" I didn't understand why, when I questioned her she just stated "As I've said, this is not a good therapeutic match" I moved on and explained to Groupon what happened and wanted my money back from this obvious unprofessional "therapist" scammer. They Now I have to fight this BS through my C/C company!!! DO NOT give this woman your business. She and Groupon are scammers. Keep in mind that this business has a 30.00 charge if late or do not cancel within the 24 hr period yet SHE can cancel 6 hrs prior to your appt OVER AND OVER again. If you read the 1 star reviews there are many more stories like mine. BEWARE and BE WARNED!!!

It is so disheartening to read comments about rescheduling… life happens! I have never had a negative experience with Catrina! She has always made me feel comfortable and has helped my body heal from prior injuries. I have had to reschedule several times over the last couple of years that I’ve been seeing Catrina and she is always so understanding and willing to work with me… a little understanding goes a long way!! And honestly… she’s worth the wait, she does an AMAZING job! I couldn’t recommend her more!

Groupon - do not purchase a groupon from Catrina.
She has canceled multiple times on me same day as my appointment. The reason for the cancellations she said was that they were double-booked and that my appointment had to be canceled.
It appears she only uses Groupons as filler, but once a better paying customer comes along then she cancels the Groupon for the better payer.

She canceled on me so much, my Groupon eventually expired. And, when I called her out on her canceling on me she refused to even let me book anymore - saying that we were not a good therapeutic match.
Luckily, I was able to get in-store credit through Groupon.

Again, do not book a Groupon for Catrina.
