This was my first massage with Chris. He met me outside of the studio and asked me about any pains or problems I may be having in my body. I told him about a recent fall I had experienced and he said he would try to target those areas.

Chris made me feel completely at ease and he massaged my body in a very professional and caring manner. The music playing made me feel very much at peace.

At the end of the massage, Chris offered me water and gave me suggestions as to how to continue to promote healing from my fall.

We were visiting in the area but if I lived here I would see Chris regularly. I highly recommend him and appreciate his kind and caring therapeutic approach.

Chris made my massage experience wonderful! He has an intuitive touch and has created a wonderfully relaxing studio! Chris was attentive to my needs and in general an extremely pleasant person to chat with! I appreciated the drink, chocolate and tiny toy hands he gave as a gift after the massage! I went in for my first massage ever and had a great experience! Chris made me feel comfortable, and gave me a lot of good information on things I can do at home to help. He focused on my problem areas and I can already tell it was effective. The studio is so cute and cozy, easy to find, and easy to park. Highly recommend!

Wow! So, do NOT go here! He will turn on you!

I got two massages here and they were great. Then, I made a mistake, booked my third appt for the wrong day and showed up on time but a day late, which was totally my fault. I was mortified, and immediately called him several times to try and explain, but both it went to vm after one ring. I rebooked a 7 PM next Friday and, after struggling to find parking, showed up at 7:03, again, embarrassed, as this was all very unlike me but it had been a hard few weeks. He opened up at 7:03, and before I could get a word out, he immediately told me the appointment was cancelled, that I was disrespecting him and he didn’t want to work on me so I needed to leave. He was so rude and hurtful. I was totally taken aback and tried to explain I made an awful mistake missing the last appointment, but he slammed the door and wouldn’t hear it. I left in shocked tears. It was insane that he would treat me that way, even if he didn’t want to take the appointment. I know he is a small business owner and I screwed up his schedule, but it was truly an honest mistake. He made me feel like garbage after I had been so looking forward to the massage and it was so unnecessary for a misunderstanding.

EDIT: yes, he had the nerve to call me and ask that I take down this bad review, but I didn’t feel he deserved a second chance moments after denying me the same thing. If he was that ready to explode over me being 3 minutes behind after the missed appointment, he should have politely cancelled ahead of time and told me he had a policy of not rebooking no shows. Or, I would have much rather been charged than treated poorly, but he made an inexplicable choice to do the opposite - not charge, not cancel, just be enraged. Also, to insinuate that I “no-showed” by being 3 minutes late (!) shows you how he has justified this outburst in his head. It was bad enough to be really upsetting to me, so buyer beware.
