I recently had the pleasure of visiting Vanessa for a hair transformation, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. Vanessa took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered valuable suggestions that really showcased her expertise.

The quality of her work is truly impressive! She applied keratin extensions, and the results are nothing short of stunning. My hair has never looked so full and vibrant! The extensions blend seamlessly, and I've received countless compliments since leaving the salon.

Not only is Vanessa incredibly talented, but her professionalism shines through in everything she does. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the process and explained each step, which really put me at ease.

This review is for Vanessa. I went in hoping for a dark brown with ash undertones to eliminate the red tones in my hair, but I ended up with jet black hair that wasn’t what I asked for. The stylist double-booked herself, didn’t prioritize me, and left the dye in too long, which caused my hair to turn much darker than expected. Despite being told the color wouldn’t touch my roots, she messily applied it and dyed pretty much my entire head black even though I came in with about 3-4 inches of my natural hair.

The communication was all over the place. I was told one thing at the start, then something completely different while she was working on my head. I came back a second time, where I was there for three hours, and she bleached my hair twice and left me with red hair, especially in the back. This was the very issue I was trying to fix, and she just let me walk out like that.

I then came back a third time for another over three-hour session where both the stylist and her "manager" left my hair splotchy, and she stayed behind to try to fix it. I wasn’t planning on asking for my money back, but she offered it herself, realizing how badly she’d messed up. I took the refund and clearly explained how incredibly disappointing this whole process was.

I’ve now found out that she’s been gossiping saying I took the money back because she’s friends with someone I don’t even care about. Girl you messed up my hair five times during three different sessions. It’s beyond frustrating and unprofessional.

I was lucky enough to find the fabulous crew at Mystique Salon over 5 years ago and am a loyalist! Vanessa, Dana, Elisabeth - they've all been incredibly kind, professional, affordable, timely and creative: the best qualities for personal care professionals. The crew has been around for years so they clearly feel connected to their work environment and have mutual respect for one another and they customers.

Arlin has been giving my manicures and pedicures for almost a year now. I typically see her weekly. She always does an outstanding job...not to mention she is kind and funny. Everyone in the salon is very kind and attentive to their clients.

Great service experience. Vanessa did a great job with my color and cut. She took her time making sure that all the color was done properly. Throughout the color, she was responsive to my needs and friendly. After the cut, she had another client, so another lady helped to style my hair. Vanessa finish it off with a straight style. I am very satisfied!

The prices are a bit expensive but the service you receive is worth it.
I will definitely come here again, and I recommend that you come as well.

I highly recommend anyone in need of any hair services (especially balayage!), visit Mystique Salon. I usually don't review businesses but I've been going to Dana for over a year and have not been disappointed once. I love coming here and unwinding while she does her magic. Vanessa and Elizabeth are also amazing. Truthfully, the entire staff is professional and friendly. Now that they offer dip powder for manicures... I'll be coming in even more now.
