Absolutely the best place in town to get your nails done! Such a sweet relaxing place. And Mrs. Lynn will go make sure you feel beautiful by the time you leave! Hadn’t had my nails done in over a year and half. Admittedly, I’m pretty particular about my nails. She went off one picture and I thought did an outstanding job! So Mrs. Lynn you’re amazing and so sweet and kind. Thanks for making this girl feel like a woman again today! You put a pep back in my step on I didn’t know I needed. Your conversation, your art, love, and passion for others made a difference you may have never realized. Who knew a beautiful set of nails could do that to one person!
This woman now!
Thanks again!

Had a pretty lackluster experience yesterday that ended with being yelled at. I came with three friends for a scheduled pedicure appointment. I arrived 5 min after them only to find there was no space for me as they were finishing up another client. 10 min later I was able to get in the chair. I was asked if I wanted to do the same package as my friends, but I said I didn’t know what they got and asked for a menu/price sheet. The nail tech immediately was exasperated and asked what I wanted. I said I didn’t know what they offered. He purposely undersold the “spa pedi” that was cheaper and went on and on about the deluxe my friends were getting. He said the price and to ensure I heard correctly, I repeated it back. He said yes. The pedicure starts and it’s fine. The water is cold so I ask for it to be hotter, he comes back with a subway cup filled with hot water. Weird but ok. The rest of the pedicure was quite lackluster. I saw my three friends getting rather intense experiences and massages, hot clay masks, foot scrubbing, the works. I did not receive this. I received the Wish dot com version. The scrubbing was minimal, no “cheese grater” (though, I might be somewhat ok about this because it looked like they used something from a kitchen store), and definitely zero massage. The most touching I got literally felt like I was being blotted dry with a towel. Everything was some little hand presses through a towel. I can’t understate that this was not a massage. At one point, I was wrapped with hot towels and the tech wrapped the towel incorrectly, leaving half of my foot exposed, so he held my foot in his hand for 5 seconds? It was so bizarre.

At the end, even the painting job was not good. I could see it was uneven on my big toe and asked for it to be redone as the tech was flying through with the clear coat. He quickly added an extra color coat and said he didn’t want to do more or the color would be darker than the rest. Why not redo it? It’s one nail, not gel Polish. “Don’t worry don’t worry it will be nice”. Upon further inspection, as pictured, you’ll see my other toe has a big crack of paint that’s not consistent.

Finally upon paying, I waited at the front while my nail tech wandered off and the head lady was on the phone at the register. I was standing in front of her with wallet in hand for a quite before my tech came out and finally he said something to her. She tells me $68. I said “no I was told $58”. She argues with me, gets the nail tech to say I was confused and that’s not what he said, I reinforce that I said $58 back to him and he agreed and they’re still saying $68. What made it worse was that this woman kept saying what she told me friends, I had to remind her three times that I was not there when my friends arrived and they were well into their pedicures when I arrived, let alone got into the seat. She finally yelled (no exaggeration) “OK FIFTY EIGHT”. It can’t be understated that I never yelled, had an attitude, or was snippy. During the entire lackluster experience I said nothing (except the one time about the paint) to ensure my friends enjoyed their experience, one of who was a first timer. I handed over card to pay, and my receipt was thrown back at me. No thank you. Was $10 worth completely turning me off as a customer? And I for sure let my friends know what happened after they’d walked out.

Looking back, it’s clear the nail tech either didn’t know what he was doing and/or was rushing through my experience to get me finished as we were the last customers of the day. It’s incredible to me how I finished <5 minutes after my friends, when they started at least 15 min before me. So, buyer beware. Today my skin and feet look incredibly ashy. My heels do not resemble someone who got a pedicure 16 hours ago. Pictures are hard to capture but I’ll post a few to give you the gist. I do a better job at home. This place is pricey and inconsistent. Stay far away.

I’ve been coming to this nail shop for about a year and a half. The staff is phenomenal. I can’t say enough good things about the owners Vu and Lyn & Dovey. They are the sweetest people on the face of the Earth. Very, very hard-working people. They always go above and beyond to make sure that my manicures and pedicures are absolutely perfect. They are all so detail oriented & very particular- true perfectionists. I won’t go anywhere else.
I highly recommend!!!

I am really surprised by the high reviews of this place. The man doing my manicure cut me in three different places. One finger (where he cut me twice) would not stop bleeding. You can see the red around my nail bed after it had slowed, which is blood not polish. Aside from a “sorry,” there was no effort to make it right and I was still charged the full amount for the manicure. I won’t be returning and thought I’d let others know about the poor job and customer service.

We've been coming here for a year or better and have always had good service. I booked an appointment a good 3+ weeks ago for a mani & pedi today. My pedi felt sort of rushed. In fact, my partner's pedi started quite a bit before mine and mine was finished first! Then, as we discussed what I needed for my mani, I stated I needed the dip this time. I was informed that needed to be requested at the time of booking and since it wasn't, they couldn't do it!. I've had the dip in the past and never had to mention it when I booked. If this is a new policy, customers should be clued in when they call! I am so disappointed!! The only reason for 2 stars is because Dovie does such an excellent job and deserves to be recognized! I am now in quite a quandary as to what to do for future services.😟
